It was an impressive dress, to be sure...

I was amused by the horrible way they modeled her - all boobs, ass and chipmunk cheeks. Not trying to hate, but she really is a terrible voice actor. Most of her dialog sounded like excerpts from IGN Strategize. The "fling" was a total waste of time, too. So glad a made a save beforehand.

Huh? I didn't get the Paramour achievement from romancing Allers. The only real "romance" thing they had was a fade to black after a kiss, and only one flirting conversation before that. I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything...
But yeah, I'd say it was almost not worth putting it in the game at all. The only other part is an email she sends you just before the last mission about how much you mean to everyone, although that might happen anyways despite the romance.
I only really defaulted to her because I romanced Kelly Chambers in ME2 without having romanced anyone else in ME1 or ME2. I was hoping Kelly would be a romance option in ME3, but she wasn't. the ME2 romance with Kelly was more fulfilling than the Allers stuff though. In fact. there wasn't really much interaction with Allers at all, even outside the romance.

You know I completely forget she was on the ship...
So you could romance her... I had no idea who that Chobot woman was before Bioware decided to implement her into game. Never taking her again, since I cant even remember she is on my ship.

I've got nothing against Jessica Chobot, but she's not a competent voice actor and BioWare did a terrible job of recreating her face. The Allers character as presented in ME3 is not up to par with the rest of the game's high standards. Gimmicks and marketing stunts are only okay until they make your product worse. Having a reporter onboard could've been really cool, it's a shame they spoiled it just to get some attention.
But at least she's easy to get rid of.

Went in to ME3 open minded about this character....had never heard of Jessica Chobot before ME3, so no influence there....my Sheps are all single, was hoping to find love for them and I have come out thinking what the hell was that!?....Allers just left me completely flat, don't like the voice (Jessica obviously can't VA), looks weird and has a personality akin to cardboard.....Suffice to say, my Shep remained single.

She really just seemed like a cheap excuse to get Chobot in the game. Never getting back on the Normandy for me.

Funny. That's what I thought too. She's there but besides of two visits in Shepard's cabin, her role is ... tiny? So to speak. Also she nets only 5 points of EMS. Sure, the interviews you can do with her may add additional points, but not more than 30 or so.
In short: not really worth it to add her to the ship.
Funny: BW was known for creating impressive characters. Just from what I saw so far, only very few characters like Garrus &Vega feel like "well developed & lifelike persons". My own fave character lacks any interaction with Shepard except for very special scenes. Traynor got some amazing treatment too.
Would say, there's a quality drop in character development - and Diana Allers got the least development of all. She's ... there.

She's a boring and dull character. At least to me.

Not worth it.
Not enough dialogue with her, aside from a couple of interviews. From now on, I plan to bring her purely to boost my war assets a little. But she's crossed off the potential LI list.

I couldn't bring ger on the Normandy, after meeting her at the Citadel.
dat voice, dat face.
The irony is, that I didn't get her, mostly because she has an ugly model, and Chobot seems like a person whose career is based on being pretty.
I thought Jessica Chobot was famous for being that woman who licked the PSP. So not so ironic when you say that she is based on being pretty.
