I got my copy from EA early. I was told I woud be emailed the codes for the memory band and fire band tomorrow however the codes for the blood armor, Stone prisoner and the collectors items dont work. Before you say well they wont work till tomorrow I know that but they wont work even then as they are the wrong length 16 characters instead of 25 that xbox live requires.
I sent EA in a hissy fit when I called. One they wanted to know how I got the game early I told them you shipped it to me too soon:) I told them about the codes, They have passed it up the corporate ladder and i am suppossed to get a email and phone call from them. Turns out the collectors editions 360  codes are wrong (alteast from EA anyway and probaby all of the 360 ones according to them)  and they told me if mine are wrong that means all copies may have bad codes they said they are glad that I called and informed them this is the first they have heard of the matter. they want more info from me on the matter. So I will update once there Q3 team calls me what ever that is.

As I understand it, all codes are entered into the BioWare site, and then you hook your X-Box love account to your BSN accout. After all, the codes aren't only for the X-Box, but every system.

If this is true I bet they're pleased you called, they'll have to get a major damage limitation exercise going.

Hope it doesnt apply to regular version.. I'm picking my 360 regular version up in a couple days and would hate it if the codes dont work.

Good if you can keep us up to date!

Im pretty sure you enter the codes another place, not under redeem code on the marketplace.

i second this, that would be the logical thing to do for bioware forumites. although that may be a very minimal percentage of actual future owners of the game.

As Maria Caliban stated, don't you enter the codes here first?

I don't think that's accurate Maria or else this would be a first for the Xbox Live Marketplace. To date, everything must go through the marketplace and you purchase the content from there no through a separate site and link a profile. I hope you are correct so when my CE arrives tomorrow I can load up all my DLC.

Hopefully, Fernando or Chris will see this thread and respond.

What Mari Caliban said. I'm not sure that those are supposed to be typical XBL DLC codes. I think all DLC gets handled through one central EA hub.

The cards with the codes on them should TELL you where to input them. Do they say to input them into the XBL "redeem code" feature, or do they tell you to go somewhere else?

My guess is, you enter the codes with EA, and then log in, within the game, to your EA account, and then you get access to the DLC.

That'd be a first for Xbox Live. It would also be odd given that the DLC has been advertised as costing 560 Microsoft Points.

If you can't redeem them on XBL, where else could a 360 owner redeem them?

Dragon Age code redemption is all done on this site, for all platforms.

If that's the case, how could you get the Dragon Age: Journeys items or the Luck Stone for uploading your CC PC? They've said previously that those DLC are for all systems, and I don't think they've released the CC for X-Box.

That said, I have a PC and haven't been following the X-Box/PS3 news as closely as I should. You may be right.

Could the reason they are not working be becouse they games actual release is not until tomorrow?

I'm only guessing. I know that even the Xbox360 version of the game let's you log in to your EA account, so I figured the DLC might be handled that way, as it is on the computer.

I don't know, but we should hopefully have answers on these things soon.

Palm-rest - I assumed that you entered them here on your account. The account automatically gets updated through your XBL system on game boot (assuming the game checks for updates on every reboot). Then, the items are downloaded. This would be similar to making changes on your EA Sports account for NHL '09, for instance.

Double checked the instructions to enter the codes you do need to do it from the xbox dashboard not here that may only be for the PC to enter here.

These codes will not work on the Xbox Live code redeem feature.

You need to either redeem the code here on social - follow the link on the left under Profile. Or from within your 360, go to the DLC menu, then press Y to 'Redeem EA Code'.
