Thanks for the effort Wigmore ;)

That really is my concern. Since we're deviating from the normal process of purchasing things on Xbox Live has anything else changed? I hope not.

According to my tracking number, my copy of the CE is going to be delivered today but I don't have the codes yet. Does anyone know if there's any issues with adding the DLC content after you already started a game? I doubt I'll get far enough in the few hours after work to be way beyond playing any of it.

I would advise accepting the knowledge passed on from our two friendly Bioware reps above. :D

Yes, but what I'm asking is if I can still add the content to a campaign, even if I already started it without that DLC already added.

StuartBoyer - do you mean you are already playing the game?  I just track my copy from Amazon in the mail.  Ill have it by tomorrow morning for sure.  how did you get it early?  At the risk of sounding ignorant, what role does EA play in the production of a Bioware game?

1. BioWare is the developer. EA is the producer.
2. EA owns BioWare.

Yeah, instead of asking us whether we read the response, how about you actually read our questions instead of assuming that people are stupid?

My question was not answered, if it was I would not be asking again.

This forum should have been locked after the first bioware rep responded to the OP.

I mean, You sure allready know the answer by Yourself. Don't count on this...

I'm referring to accessibility for users other than the purchaser who may or may not have an EA account.

Ohh, You mean, all pirate scumbags that allready have the game, and only thing that separaes them from us, is lack of legit serial code and no possibility to download any DLC ?

For
example, if I buy the Warden's Keep with my gamertag and my EA account.
Will my son be able to play the Warden's Keep under his own gamertag?

Of course, I truly belive You, but think, how happy those above mentioned pirates would be if this would happen.
So i think it's not allowed, DLC is most likely bind to Your account, so Your son will have to play on Your account/gamerstag, to enjoy warden's keep quest... it's preety obvious and simple as that
Regards

I got my copy from EA early. I was told I woud be emailed the codes for the memory band and fire band tomorrow however the codes for the blood armor, Stone prisoner and the collectors items dont work. Before you say well they wont work till tomorrow I know that but they wont work even then as they are the wrong length 16 characters instead of 25 that xbox live requires.
I sent EA in a hissy fit when I called. One they wanted to know how I got the game early I told them you shipped it to me too soon:) I told them about the codes, They have passed it up the corporate ladder and i am suppossed to get a email and phone call from them. Turns out the collectors editions 360  codes are wrong (alteast from EA anyway and probaby all of the 360 ones according to them)  and they told me if mine are wrong that means all copies may have bad codes they said they are glad that I called and informed them this is the first they have heard of the matter. they want more info from me on the matter. So I will update once there Q3 team calls me what ever that is.

Well they didnt ship it to soon, your carrier delivered it to soon!, Those are shipped with a set delivery date, Just as most retail stores have it sitting in thier stock rooms or worse yet in a sealed box on the floor taunting buyers as they shop in the store, lol

Hope they fix it for ya.

Codes can be entered here on social. They can also be redeemed from within the game on each platform - from the game's Main Menu, select the Downloadable Content option. In there will be an option to Redeem Code on PC, (Y) Redeem EA Code on 360, or (triangle) Redeem EA Code on PS3.

DLC works the same as you'd expect on each platform. So on 360, once that DLC is on your box any gamertag (regardless of whether they have an EA account) can play it.

DLC will take effect for any new game, as well as any existing save game. So if you are already playing the game, then activate DLC, loading that last same save game is all you need to do.

WOW EA just sent me an apology email with codes for all the downloads! That includes codes for BandofFire, CollectorsEdition, DalishPromiseRing, DragonBloodArmor, FeralWolfCharm, GuildMastersBelt, MemoryBand, TheLionsPaw, TheStonePrisoner. Now i have two of some of these codes. Well the copy I bought a friend as a gift (regular edition) is about to get some freebies.

No, he means other people who have Gamertags on his XBox 360. For example my roommate has his own gamertag on my XBox 360 in order to keep our save games and profiles separate. If the codes and such are tied to an EA account, which my roommate does not have, would he be able to use the bonus material in his profile or will it be only accessible through my profile.

If we cannot then these codes are largely useless and a major step backwards in DLC management.  FOr every other game I own the DLCs for them are accessible for all profiles.

For the questions about "what do Xbox users do if they don't have a PC," I'm just not understanding the concern. 96% of all households use a computer (at least in the US) with 83% (again, in the US) of them have internet access...can't the other 17% use a library or public PC? It's just a matter of creating an account on this website - even for the sole purpose of entering your content.

Now, if you were concerned about Xbox users who don't have Xbox Live, then I understand your concern. Since I don't have that statistic readily available, I can't speculate as intelligently; but, I can empathize with people as I'm sure that it's much less. But, it's more of a financial concern in which place those Xbox users without internet access have much worse problems than trying to gain access to some DLC.

Other than that, I don't see any other question (I could be missing it) that wasn't answered by Bioware.

I don't assume people are stupid. I assume people are intelligent and possess common sense, but every day the world gives ample evidence to the contrary.

Why in the hell was this stupid system desinged? All it does is (seemingly) to complicate things. This site sucks. Yes it's beta but at least it could have been fully done before opening it.

The system sucks. I need additional account in order to get DLC which then is also linked to my 360 and my GT...

Only positive thing i can see is that, IF this works like this, that i could DL the DLC again on different platform should i get DAO for, say, PC too and that DLC code is not one time only if my 360 HD gets busted. If and ONLY if things work as i described.

Honestly, it feels that this system is going to be a catastrophe. Don't tell this applies to ME2 too.

EA has already zero credibility in my eyes, and i'm not happy that BW is partipicating in this. Of course i understand that BW might not have choice but stilll...

*shakes head slowly* Change is a good thing... but only if it can be proven to have positive and concrete effect.

Oh and a negative comment on the site, the font's too small. Zooming in FF makes the site jerkier...

Log into the game itself via the login you use here on the social engine site, input the codes IN THE GAME itself, I believe this is how it works.

Apparently i cannot edit my post. Don't tell me that's a bug...

Anyways, do i need to log in my EA account in order for my brother to use DAO DLC on his GT too?

We don't obviosly use same GT... heck, he has his own EA account but DLC codes seem to be single use, allways.
