Sentinel got nerfed big time though (which to be honest it needed to). Not quite sure how they are supposed to play now, probably more of a gun focussed class and should take an ammo as bonus power.

Adepts are much more powerful in ME3 on insanity. Biotic detonations are even more powerful plus there are plenty of unprotected enemies....rather than none. Right at the moment I would say Adept is the most powerful class, but it is the only one I have finished the game with.
