 There seems to be a problem that occurs whenever I try to play with some of my friends.

We can't seem to join eachothers game, no matter who invites or what settings we use. To clarify: I set up a match, invite a friend, who then sees the ' Joining game'  screen - but nothing else. He just sees that screen for a good 10 minutes. When he invites me, the same thing happens to me. We can't get into a game together.

We've both checked our connections, which work fine with other games. We made sure that any other apps(such as the PS3 chat function) are off (because you never know...) and we tried it with another friend - who also encountered the same issue. Edit: We all live in the same country (Netherlands) and have the EU version.

Now we can play the MP just fine - just not with eachother.

Any ideas what might be causing this and how to fix it?

im guessing one of you downloaded the game and one of you has the disc version of the game. The disc is patched 1.01 and the download is patched to 1.02. Bioware is working on fixing this.

Nope, all disc versions. Any other ideas perhaps? I still haven't found a fix or way to work around the problem...

Same problem here.Sometimes it works (especially in the morning GMT+1) but never in the evening.
Tested many ways: Open a public match then invite,Open a private match then invite, he also tested these ways, both reboot PS. Nothing of this worked. But we can join other matches. The MP is very buggy till now and Bioware should really bring out some patches for that.

Other probs monitored during MP:
1. Framerate dropps extremly after 1st start of MP during matchselect (takes ~30seconds).
2. Yesterday it looks like it got massive lags after the ~8/9th wave and i was bounced trough the map, could only walk slowly and was flying through the top of the map and got killed by this. This happend several times yesterday (also in the evening).
3. Joining lobbys isn't working everytime. I wait 1 minute for "joining game" and canceled it, then i retry and join instantly.
