This isn't about whether you were satisfied with the endings or possible DLC, I'm just curious whether anyone else had a physcal reaction to it. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. like someone had just stabbed me with a knife and was slowly cutting me open with it.
anyone else react like this or was it just engaging on an intellectual level?
What was your reaction when the Starchild quit talking?

I wanted time to reverse. I wanted to curl up in a little ball in a time travelling device, and I wanted to forget myself with strong drink and a cigar

Actually I was thankful it stopped talking - because quite frankly - its dialogue and voice was terrible.
I then spent about 10 minutes trying to shoot it and the various parts around the Citadel that were not connected to the ending.
Eventually I resolved to accept that there was no where to go from either. I couldn't even save my game to try again later.

I just starred at the screen and began walking to the destroy option. I was indoctrinated by the bad ending.

I alt tabbed to look up if I'd made some mistake or gotten some kind of bug that locked me into the bad ending where everything goes to hell. Turns our Bioware just phoned it in for the ending.

I closed the game. Surfed as if i was doing something wrong, realised that this actually is real and legitimate, then watched the endings on youtube and deleted the game from PC.

Confused mostly.
Then I accidentally found myself in the synthesis ending because I didn't understand how the choosing worked.
Then I just kind of, stared at my screen in disbelief.
Then I quit the game and started posting on here in rage.

I completely froze and said to myself "WTF??!!". Then proceeded to think about the options and as seing that all of them were **** i walked toward the blue light...

Wondering why I couldn't click on him again to ask for clarification or to dispute some of the claims that he made. I ended up staring at the screen in disbelief for awhile before having Shepard hobble around in circles due to indecision... > x>;;
And wondering why it looked like that kid beause, really?

I wanted to offer him candy and tell him to stop talking silly non-sense that doesn't fit in with anything we've ever been presented with the series thus far.
Eventually like mentioned above I was indoctrinated into a bad ending.

I've started looking around. I hoped it was a joke and there's a hidden cam somewhere around with people from Bio watching me and dying when they see my reaction. Sadly- there wasn't any.

Took advantage of my infinite ammo and unloaded my frustration on the little glowy punk. Alas, he was a hologram. I made sure to throw a couple warps into the vent on my next playthough.

This.
I tripped out so badly I forgot which choice was what. Googled, didn't give me answers, bolted headlong into the middle, turned everyone green.

Haha, very funny Bioware. Okay I'm playing along. Walkin' towards the giant beam of light.
Yep. Now would be a good time Joker. Any moment now. This can't possibly be the ending. This is Mass Effect after all.
*End Cutscene plays*
*MONITOR PUNCH. (Stopped myself short.)*

It was largely shock for me. When he gave the options and said nothing more, I was shocked that these were my choices and even more shocked that my Shepard couldn't paragon his way out like he did so many times, or at the very least pick "investigate."

I wanted to punt him, seriously. I never liked that child throughout the game, and to have him as the last person you ever spoke to was insulting.
He gives me an immovable ultimatum and expects me to agree with it.
I really couldn't get my head around what the ending finally came to.
My hands slipped away from the keyboard and mouse, limply and I just sat there blinking.
I felt sick, a common reaction among most of us.
It took me a while to chose a path, and when I did so, I was horrified to find out that I couldn't even change my mind. Shepherd started to Autowalk. I couldn't even steel myself against what I was about to do. It was like someone was saying "Ha! Got you! Now sit back and watch as I f**k things up!"
That was by far the worst part of it. Taking my hands away from the controls and watching Shepherd die without any way to affect the outcome.
Goddammit.
