Just stared at the screen for awhile, literally took me 5 minutes to get my thoughts together, then came the rage.

Maybe Bioware could just make a shortcut straight from end with Anderson to the NG+, Cause i would prefer not to torment myself with those 'endings' until they are fixed.

I have come across bugs, i have shadows that make earth and other poorly lit levels look like crap, but the endings are GAME-BREAKERS for me.

yeah like tranquility lane in fallout 3.

maybe bioware is trolling us. like if we just wait 50,000 more years just like leave the game on for that long, maybe the real ending wil........ASSUUMMINGG DIRECT CONTROL

I was disappointed with the direction they chose to go, but I wasn't yet terribly upset, and I was waiting for the coming epilogue that would show me the consequences for my squadmates, my LI, and all the different forces that took place in the final attack. Then when the credits started rolling and I realized I wasn't going to get any of that, then the anger set in.

I read the endings beforehand, (since every thread is now about the terrible endings) and was no longer surprised. At least I almost got to see Harbinger get destroyed. I wish that dumb cut of the Normandy didn't exist because my beloved Liara was safely on Earth when I left her, but that jerk Joker picked her up and dumped her on some planet dozens of light years away. What a joke.

I realized the reapers had won. If I picked Destroy, Shep won and the reapers got destroyed.

At first I thought, I get it, he's an audiovisual representation of Catalyst, just like when I joined Geth consensus.

After that: Wait. Is he creator or created. But if he created Reapers, doesn't that contradict.....
RAGE QUIT for 5 minutes.

All of the endings seem based on the assumption that organics and synthetics will eventually do what is possible to annihilate the other. Therefore supposedly best solution is to remove the difference OR destroy one or the other (Control is just a different way of destroying the reapers).
Yes its possible that synthetics will endeavor to annihilate organics or vice versa. It is also possible that they won't, the creator is using logic to justify his argument unfortunately Logic cannot account for the unpredictability of people.
Also considering the creator and the reapers basically guided the technological path of all space travelling races, it could be said that the actions of the races is also their fault not just the annihilation waiting at the end.

'Hope' is what Shepard believes and is the common factor throughout all three games, only for it to be disregarded at the end of the trilogy by a being that has been disconnected reality for millions of years? Yet Shepard can't just do something like 'i don't like your choices, so i'll make my own'

Yeah, the synthetics argument made very little sense for anyone who was pro synthetic all the way through. hell,my shep was all for integration of machines and organics, but not on the REAPERS TERMS.

I just stood there for about a minute, waiting to see if there'd be any crazy thing happen.

It didn't so I started walking, expecting Anderson to scream or a freakin' ship to ram into the "room" I was in and interrupt the death-limp march I was doing towards the intersection.

When none of that happened I just stood there and mentally raged at having to pick between crap & more crap. But then picked Destroy, assuming SOMETHING would be different somehow based on something. And it was not different, and there was much confusion.

Then came anger/disappointment.

Turned the game off, went online to see if I did anything wrong. Then I googled the principles of time travelling so I could go back in time and stab the guy who leaked the original ending in the gut with a rusty steel pipe.
