I randomly choose the nearest console, the beam (synthesis), then went on the internet to check all the alternative ending I would have probably missed. Unfortunately, there is none, ending is just bad.

Then I remembered the short "visions" and saw each option in the platform. Pause for thought. Then went right.
It was one hell of a ride.

They pulled a DA2, just like I thought they would. At least 90% of the game was good.

I then picked an ending, forgot all about it, and chose to believe Shep was killed by harbinger and the universe was destroyed.

DA 2's ending was fitting. After Kirkwall everyone fled, (alive) Hawke and Hawkes lover are still together. There will be a sequel. ME3 was supposed to be THE END OF THE SERIES. Not so open ended and only show us the Normandy being the only thing damaged by the Crucible and landing in a rainforest

With DA2 it ended in a cliffhanger, but it was still consistent with the story and the DA universe in general.

With Mass Effect 3, they went into a full on Gainax Ending.

Just felt empty. Then I ran back to the elevator. There was texture missing in the background, as if they assumed nobody's going to ran back from that offer. I picked one at random, since with a choice like that it didn't even matter what you choose.

 I was confused because "Control" was my only option, which meant that I suddenly felt like a villian. Out of nowhere it seemed that my only option was to become the very thing I was trying to keep The Illusive Man from becoming.

I was disappointed.

It didn't kick in for me until the credits.

I just... waited for a Paragon interrupt. I wanted to tell that abomination off. Nothing happened, so I went with Destroy; that still doesn't sit quite right. Poor EDI and the Geth...

I thought I was in the Matrix where any moment I'll wake up and it was all a dream. Then googled hoping I'd picked the wrong path but sadly not. Just the worse ending in gaming history.
