Then the Crucible docked: "ok maybe they'll show the extermination of the reapers"
Then Hackett phoned Shepard: "wait I don't like where this is going"
Then god child came up: "what is this? Why would they do this?"
Then he starts talking: "oh no, deus ex machina in my mass effect? No they didn't."
Then he starts talking about the choices: "No bioware, you didn't, you seriously didn't rip the ending from Deus ex and expect us to swallow it."
Then Shepard just accepts what he says: "Oh screw you, shepard wouldn't say that, he wouldn't go along with this bull."
Then I take control of shepard: "Ok I'm going to go along with this on the off chance there's a major turnaround, but I don't think I'm going to like what comes next any better if this continues downhill."
Then I watch everything else: "..."
So yeah. From the absolute peak of contentment over the end, to a rock bottom pit of depression and despair. It was as though I watched garrus himself slice open shepard's stomach, reach up into his chest, rip out his heart, and let shepard watch it beat before his brain shut down.

Edit: Oh yeah, the emotional scale... well, at first I felt kinda disappointed, but after the cutscenes I felt really, really sad, as if someone has taken something awesome away from me and replaced it with bile.

Then I thought I was having a terrible dream that the game was really ending the way it was.

I stumbled around that damn room for easily a half hour, absolutely unsure what to do. All three options were horrible. I kept wondering where I went wrong... was my EMS not nearly as high as I thought? Did I do something wrong on Earth? It can't be this simple... and what could possible be the paragon route? After all, I was a pure paragon (save for the renegade interrupt on Kai... SO worth it) and I wanted to carry that to the end. And yet, The Illusive Man's fate was shaded in blue? I was so confused and frustrated, and that was before I decided to follow through with the mission and destroy the Reapers.
Now... now I just feel defeated. I beat the game for the first time last night, and have been extremely bitter ever since. I can't believe all of the time, energy, money and emotion I had invested into Commander Shepard is supposed to end like this.

I have much more questions about story than before ME3. Ending totally ruined any hunger for replaying this game :-( (because I don´t play games to be punished..I play for fun and good feeling from beating the game..but now game has beaten me..WTF??)

Better ending than ME3.

Fair enough if we get the endings whereby Shepard dies because player didn't have enough EMS (Effective Military Strength). The ending whereby Shepard survives can apparently be unlocked if player has 5000++ EMS and it's a NG+ as I've just been told. So that particular ending isn't so bad...
...but the thing that's really missing even in that particular Shepard-survive ending -- and I think we can all
agree on that - is what is to become of Shepard and his/her lover,
especially if it's a longtime romance from ME1, for instance Liara. Do they ever
meet again and get to live a peaceful and prosperous life with their
blue children?!
Following the logic of things which happen in the
end, I don't think they ever meet again, sadly enough, because the mass
relays are destroyed and to rebuild them would take many years. So
Shepard being human would have grown old and passed away before any mass
relay can ever be built to connect the four corners of the galaxy.
That's a very sad ending to such a fantastic story.
To me, the 3 given decisions by the crucible child were very profound but the end results leave to be desired. Goodbye Shepard!
BRUTAL!

Or did you mean in real life?
I believed DA2 was merely premature. It seems likely that this is instead the new standard of quality to which Bioware aspires.

Really a Ghost Kid God of Reaperkin is giving me the choice of Genocide or Genocide or just let the Reapers walk away ? I also thought I had not enough EMS but seing as these are the "Real" choices....then I just proceded to rant. I also now do not feel like playing said game again. Which is sad when you go out and buy the CE. Oh well hopefully I will find some decent FF out there with a more satisfying story with no Ghost Kid God of Reaperkin
