Wrex had a ton of hilarious lines, he won the comedy department.

Mordin's death might have been the best moment in the series.
Garrus and Shepards bro times on the citadel and on earth were pretty touching.

For me probably the most touching moment was right at the ass end before the big Shepard speech, having romanced Tali when she barely gets out "I want more time." Perhaps the epitome of subtlety was embodied in that moment.

Also Legion dying bummed me out big time.

Then after telling everyone we were gonna have drinks later I went and died.

There were so many great scenes with Tali.

There was basically a big moment with every old companion aside from Jacob.  Him I've never much cared about, and ME3 didn't change that.

Grunt's suicide run was my second 'oh god, they didn't' moment.  My first was Kasumi on the Citadel.  I was so happy when she wasn't dead.  Loved everything with Samara and her daughters.  Loved Jack and who she'd become.  Legion, of course.  And Thane.  That was all heart-wrenching.   I really liked Liara's scene with the time capsule.  I'm really looking forward to doing the romance with her in my second playthrough (tali was first).

There was a lot of aside stuff too that was really moving.  Talk all over the place between people dealing with the war, starting with the Asari/Turian couple the first time you get back to the citadel.  The story the Asari commando tells her therapist at the hospital, about the farmers and the girl.  This was the first game I can ever think of (including the other ME games) where I actually paid attention to the random conversations like that.

Oh, and Conrad.  I liked that so much I had to watch it twice.  lmao

That's just the stuff off the top of my head.  I can't really think of a game that had this much emotional impact on me.  It was just unrelenting, especially as things began to head towards the final confrontation (such as it was).  Talking to everyone in London at the end was amazing.

I agree with all the post here, bioware did a great job with all the characters in this game

The best IMO is Jack

the character and voice acting was stellar.

Can't wait to play through with my Shep/jack romance save!

Conrad ****in Verner.  God I love that guy.  He's the galaxy's greatest douche.  I think he should be the star of an ME game or two.  The goal would be to see how badly you can screw up.  All decisions will be chaotic at best.

A lot, lol. Liara's project, Mordin dying, Thane dying, Liara's romance ending scene, Garrus taking me up to the top of the Citadel, and him talking about that bar in heaven. Awesome stuff.

I usually don't laugh out loud during video games, but here's one I actually busted out laughing so loud it scared my girlfriend sitting on the couch next to me.

During the early Palaven mission when on the mounted turret...

Vega: "Yeah! Like fish in a barrel."

Garrus: "WHAT?!" (That was the line that made me bust out laughing)

Vega: "It's an old human saying. Like...fish...in...a barrel."

Thane, without a doubt, was the hardest for me. I had tears rolling down my face. I was okay until Kolyat explained that the prayer was for Shepard, then I totally lost it.

Way too many funny moments to list. So, I'll just say the Salarian on Sur'Kesh. "Don't touch that." Had me rolling.

I love the makeout scene between tali and garrus but if you talk to them after that

Basically every team-mate interaction made me laugh. It's what kept me going while I was going back and forth fetching artifacts and solving everyone's problems.

Mordin's death, and Legion's as well, made me really sad.

haha I cant believe I forgot about the dialogue exchange they had in that scene.  Some of the best in the game.

Man oh man, but there were plenty. I guess notable mentions of hilarity have to go to drunk Tali, Wrex, anything with Wrex, Grunt, for the brief time he was there, and anything with Garrus, the scene with him on the Citadel and him "winning' that shooting contest was both hilarious and heartwarming.

Stuff I was truly sad with were what happened to Mordin, Thane, and Legion, especially Legion.

That's not to say I didn't have a reaction to practically everything in the game, it's just that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Laugh:
1) Vega asking Liara if she's ever dug up any dinosaurs and Liara replying seriously until she realizes it was a joke. Then Vega says, "Hey, I just like dinosaurs."
2) Conrad being a genius then (in my game) leaps infront of Shepard to take the bullet but Jenna takes the  assassin out before he fires.
3) Mordin's conversation with Shepard about retiring to a beach and studying seashells
4) A lot of things that came out of Wrex's and Garrus' mouths. ("Why don't I have one of those??")
5) Tali drunk
6) Liara and her father. I walked back and forth just to hear everything that they said to each other.
7) Shooting Udina (I'm sick, I know)

Cry/Tear up/Choke up:
1) "...Would've liked to study seashells."
2) Thane's son finishing Thane's prayer for Shepard
3) "L-Little Wing...?" "What's wrong?" "...It's...nothing."
4) Miranda's death
5) Leaving Anderson behind on Earth
6) Seeing the memories/data from when the geth first "rebelled" and quarians killing each other

1) Renegade option to not cure the Genophage. I didn't even shoot Mordin (he died in ME2) and it was still a moving scene and aftermath.

2) "Does this unit have a soul?"

3) I laughed a bit at the epic renegade finish of Kai Leng. Who didn't?

4) Pretty much everything Joker says, especially when he rants about how nobody on the Citadel seems to notice the war going on

5) EDI trying to cheer Shepard up after being beaten by Kai Leng on the Asari homeworld

6) I don't know what category it falls under, but getting the Illusive Man to break down near the end and/or kill himself was oddly satisfying, considering how omniscient and emotionless he appeared in ME2.

Oh. And during the mission when you rescue the female Krogan from Cerberus and you find a bomb in the elevator shaft, if you have Garrus in your squad he just says "Oh, crap." in the most passive manner. Which made me laugh.

This was a perfect moment and honorous death for Mordin.
