i have windows 7 64 bit and direct x 11 is on it . in the self help bit she said something about installing directx 9.0c. do u have to do something to bring 9.0c into effect or does it come in immediately when u install it. cus i installed 9.0c and in the my computer properties it still said 11 was running?

Just install the right version of 9.0c - multiple versions can co-exist in perfect harmony.
