Ryzaki. I think yours was worse personally. I was with friends and family who are around the same age as me and we did laugh about it not long after. It just made me uncomfortable at the time. Yes, I was in a gay bar and I did appear mostly male as I'm not fully out as Transgendered yet so to some extent it wasn't a huge surprise. Until he followed us to a second bar a couple of minutes walk away. I probably would have been more than just uncomfortable if he hadn't left after I said no. But that didn't happen.

True enough. Where were you during the DA2 Anders brouhaha?

At the very least, these things serve as a good window into gamer culture... or would be if forums were even CLOSE to being a representative sample (and they are _not_, hence why nobody sould ever use forums to judge the quality of a game).

I thought the Steve Cortez relationship was handled really well. It was easy to become a supportive friend of his without the romantic undertones. And expressing interest romantically was fleshed out rather well.

If anything, the concept of diving right into a romantic relationship with Cortez right after he overcomes his grief over his husband is what felt a little wrong about the relationship.

Itkovian, well noticed. Forums tend to be the vocal minority rather than a true representation of a given group. Personally, I try to be an open, honest voice working to keep everything civil whilst still letting everyone's opinions be heard and educating when I can.

I have to say, after being married for a while and listening to her stories, I concur that men do not have a leg to stand on.

As for Kaiden turning bi (remember, he still likes women), it felt much more believable than how it was handled with Anders in the context of their respective universes, and the timeline of the games parallel what was going on in the US Military.

....what are you people talking about? I've been nice to that guy and every other character in the game and haven't not only been hit on by him, but by anyone. The fact that people are getting worked up over this is absolutely laughable.

1. Click the glaring blue dialogue option that starts with you hitting on him.
2. Don't ask him if he's checking you out.
3. Don't tell him you're interested in men.

Seems like it'd be common ****ing sense, so no wonder everyone is missing it.

Actually I think of all things I somehow LEFT my relationship with Tali. I was waiting to call her up to my room after the Quarian/Geth thing was resolved and now... apparently I can't and our relationship hasn't been mentioned again. Hm.

I had no intention of getting into a s/s relationship, and yet funnily enough I thought the Cortez one seemed the most real to me.
