I never really figured that out.

I have, I think, 22 strength right now, which is enough for me to wield a couple decent weapons, and I've constantly put the rest into dex/cunning.

However later in the game I come across a TON of awesome swords that I'd love to use, but don't have the strength for.

So I was wondering, do people ever put strength into a dual wield rogue?  Or was I on the right track by focusing on dex/cunning?

just plan ahead, if u see a weapon that u like to use, use 1 lvl up attempt(or more) to pump your strength, and then go back to dex/cunning, couse keep in mind that untill u get that lethargy talent(or however u spell it), your strength is what detirmines your melee damage, also, i heard something about a dex bug, but don't know much about it. so check that out and get that respec mod to help u if u don't want to start over again.

I like the high Cunning - Momentum - Lethality - Dagger rogue that I am currently playing. With this build there are points to spare for more rogue-like skills (e.g., stealth). Str-based rogues are viable of course, but if I was going to dual wield swords and wear heavy armor I would just make a warrior instead. The fun part about being a rogue is the sneakiness (stealth, traps, stealing, lockpicking).

This.  If you want to use a sword/axe in your MH (never use them in the offhand, don't even get the talent unless you have nothing else to get), you are going to want to be built as a strength rogue.  For a lethality build, go with DW daggers w/ 3x elemental runes and momentum with assassin/duelist for exploit weakness inspired backstabbing madness and pinpoint strike.  For a strength build, get your cunning to 22, dex to 26+ (depending on where you want to go with dex), and put the rest into strength.  For a lethality build, switch around your cunning and strength scores (22 str, rest into cunning after 26+ dex).
