He says "I know you told Riordan you'd take the final blow, but this is my duty"
Me: "This is my duty as much as yours, we're both Grey Wardens"
He responds that he wants to be a good king, etc...
Me: "That sounds like the coward's way out."
He responds with saying it might be cowardly, but it's worth a song or two, and he loves me and won't let me die if he can do anything about it.
Me: "Wait! This is crazy!"
He says "Sanest thing I've ever done" and then there's a final kiss.

What, sacrifice my character when I could make the world a more interesting place by accepting Morrigan's offer? No thanks.
It's harder to do (for me) as a girl. I get squicked out talking him into it and then he looks so intensely freaked. Not very noble or loving.

I was worried the game would force me to stop being a good guy if I wanted to live. Yay, Loghain!

Who'da thought calling your man a coward gets you a kiss! LOL
Well, it wasn't my first impulse. Or my seventh. Must have redone that tree fifteen times. It was a surprise.

Theoretical stuff she could be thinking/reasons to live. She's lost her parents, sister in law, nephews etc..her house, she's given up enough! lol
She has other stuff to go on and do! Can help rebuild Grey Wardens in that region. There are plenty in other places according to Riorden, so it's just in Fereldan there's only a couple left. Can go try and recuit some to relocate.
She can rebuild her house Cousland. The one Bann in the Tavern, the sister of the Templar I think it was. In her conversation, she even says when you are ready to take back your Teyrnship to let her know if you want some of her bowmen. Also, Fergus is still alive correct? So, there's still hope to build your house again as far as lineage, he can remarry and have kids. Even if you can't because of the tainted blood.
Always a "chance" that in the future, hopefully soon, maybe Irving and his group of high mages can come up with a way to rid you of the taint. So you can not worry about going crazy, can have kids etc..You certainly helped them out in a pinch. They need to get to work!
Think I'll go with Morrigan's offer this first time through, so noone dies. Future playthroughs, will make different choices. We'll see.

I'm at that point in story now. Morrigan's offer..no one dies. Im not wanting my character to die. Even if Alistir is whiny, don't want your party members to die. I remember end of NWN2 when it leaves you thinking your whole party died..never want that. lol If this one has a choice..I'll keep my mc alive.

My human noble rogue, talked with Wynne. And she's a noble. She very much understood that duty sometimes comes before love. She was fully prepared to order Alistar to his death despite her relationship with him. Highever,(She didnt know her brother was alive at the time) the Wardens, and Fereldan needed her. while Alistar would fall apart if she died. But in the end, she took Morrigans offer. Something that special does deserve being presevered doesn't it? she had befriended Morrigan and trusted her.

Who used their PC to kill the Archdemon?
ive got 3 chars all ready to enter the fort drakon roff all with radiccaly different stories and my fave char is gonna sacrifice himself....
also is it like a dialogue option or is it like a finishing move?
- Having a ultimate b*tch takes the throne.
- Having a penultimate b*tch gets her way and obtain an Old God.
- Dying.
What do you think any sensible hero will do ?
It's not like I had any other reasonable option :-/
At least my coffin looked great.
