Where to start? I never make this sort of post. I'm pretty hacked off at the moment though. The game consistently crashs. Yes... I've installed and reinstalled the game, drivers vid devices, turned off all known non vital apps etc. I've tried the "specific processor select fix" and had the same results. I've tried diff vid settings, I've defraged, turned off firewall, virus protection and every other known apps (did I mention this?) and yet still w/the same result. I've reloaded w/out any DLC. I've reloaded w/just patch 1.01a and then 1.01b... same results.
The ONLY thing I havent tried is no patch. I've avoided this as having my arse handed to me repeatly in Normal Mode annoys me but I'll give this a try. I hope my saved games will allow me to "roll back" if not I might just chuck this and remember why I NEVER buy ANYTHING from EA for my PC.
Oh..I guess my true last resort is a reinstall of my OS. I really, really have no desire to do this.
I dont suppose Bioware is going to give us a patch soon?
I'm going to get a drink now.
Frustrated and tired

Enjoy that drink; but I wouldn't go as far as reloading your OS. What kind of errors are you getting; what are the issues? A few of us have found workarounds (after spending many hours figuring them out...my pre-thanksgiving gaming session was dropped from 5 hours to 30 minutes, since I was troubleshooting dragon age issues) and we're glad to help out!
So whats the issue?

CTD mainly. I had some weird Vid issues but I "think" I corrected them w/my vid card reinstall.

Video card issues are definitely rampant in this game. I've had to lower my vid settings on multiple occasions myself. Any other errors?

There is nothing you can do until they fix this. I crash to desktop regularly, and I have tried everything. You simply get a "Dragon Age has stopped..." and you're dropped to desktop with no other error message. Sometimes I can play for a while, and sometimes it crashes every few minutes. It's especially prone to crashes when transitioning between areas and a load needs to take place.

CTD, Memory Leaks, 100% Proccesor Issues etc is BIOWARE's Problem not ours. They need to patch it. The Best way to tell if something is wrong is if other games you play work fine on the System you have. As Long as you have the Sys Req then it is a Bioware problem. Some can be our own such as updated drivers etc. but, since reelease there have been a number of problems related to CTD etc.

use event viewer on your pc. it is a nice tool that will let you know what might cause problems on your pc....google what event viewer is...information technician use it all the time to troubleshoot pc's, it is a log of your computer's error and can help you a lot to see what is going on...

I'm going to run ver 1.00 w/the DLC. Before hand I ran the Human Noble Warrior Story line w/NO issues but I THINK my issues began w/the patchs and/or DLC.

I fixed this issue by updating my system (EVERY Driver and Windows update, .NET framework is 3.4 SP1, C++ redist fully up to date), and had one issue with a save game; didn't have issues between 5pm and 12:30 am this morning...

1.0 w/DLC is a NO GO. Going to do a fresh OS install. Since the DLC used the "toolset" to be created I assume I wonder ifs the culprit?

Try to disable the autoscreenshots (options -> online)
