Rage shall not stop until BioWare responds to our deman on a better ending that not only makes sense but also the choices made in previous games has to have influence. Only BioWare can explain themselves and their ending... *takes a deep breath* ...someone else might've gotten it wrong.

A lot of people have been complaining about the ending, so here's an explanation:

Wow I was not expecting to stumble upon this! I am honored good sir.

Edit: Although I apreciate you resharing my thoughts, this is an old thread. There are currently multiple threads up where this explenation is being debated. Me and Thiax are currently adressing any questions here:

Lets try to avoid making multiple threads about the same subject.

there are clear signs that this is not real. read the article above and the codex on indoctrination. unlimited ammo can only appear in a dream.

It can also appear in Mass Effect 1!

Then the ME1 guns are in a dream.

I liked the ending...I felt like throughout the entire series you were given free will to make choices in the game, but in the end, it actually didn't matter...also that this wasn't the original ending. Whatever, the game was great.

This explanation isnt new, and it's the second theory to endings. The other theory is ofc that bioware just managed to screw fans in the ending and this is all you get

We just have to wait for official word from bioware. Although the idea that they will release the ending as a seperate (free) DLC after the game has been released world wide sounds just too awesome idea.

I still have hope that BioWare can redeem themselves because I'm still a fan and still got respect for BioWare. If they mess it up I'm never again buying a BioWare product. Ever. I hope I'm not the only one thinking like that.

I sure hope kolar_jure is correct, I would love that and it does sound logical. I sure would feel like a hourses rear if he is right. Well actually I normally feel like that, comes with years of being married to a woman that thinks the best games are all on Facebook. ugggg.

Actually it would be
Smiley556 who is correct, since I copied his post.
Smiley556  thanks for the explanation, I was extremely confused and dissapointed in the ending until I stumbled upon your theory. :)

Thing is, if the indoctrination is true - they just released ME3 without a real ending. You just hallucinated that entire sequence without really knowing what happened (likely reapers winning). This takes a crap on the whole "choice matters" theme

I'd suspected that Bioware deliberately executed the ending this way, although initially intended to charge for the 'real' ending DLC. The combo of day one DLC and the fact that the dream-hallucination-whatever ending was so universally slated probably made them reconsider, and make it free. I really doubt they'd give into fan's demands that easily and quickly, and release complimentary DLC that would cost to make - it just doesn't make sense.

To be honest, the ending's not THAT bad... and if it isn't the real ending (which everything leads to me to believe), then that's good.

OP, you may want to link my thread in your post.

http://social.biowar...ndex/11799672/1

The video in that thread is the explanation you're trying to provide and (in my biased opinion) it is more convincing.
