Alright, here's the deal.  I love Mass Effect.  Mass Effect 1 was awesome, Mass Effect 2 was awesome, and Mass Effect 3 is awesome.  However, Mass Effect 3's awesomeness is buried under a mountain of glitches, some potentially game-breaking.

The face import glitch.  The glitch with Glyph where I can't talk to it even though I got a message from Feron saying to talk to it.  The glitch on the mission with the krogan scouts, where it says I killed the rachni queen(which I did), then says I saved her, then says I killed her again.  The glitch where it says I last played the game on another console, which I understand can lead to the game refusing to load at the start, resulting in nothing but a black screen.

I've experienced all these glitches, and I know there are many more that people are reporting.

I understand that there will always be bugs and glitches with this sort of thing, and I try to be reasonable.  However, the amount of glitches and the severity of them currently present in Mass Effect 3 is unacceptable.  I feel like I paid $80 to be a bug tester, which I didn't.  I paid $80 to play the thrilling conclusion to the greatest video game saga of all time.   And that's what infuriates me the most, the fact that under this mountain of glitches, there is an awesome, epic, sci-fi experience like no other waiting to be explored.  I've tried my best to ignore the glitches, and enjoy the game.  But after nearly fifteen hours, and enountering so many glitches, I find that I cannot.

For that reason, I have resolved to not play Mass Effect 3 again until the glitches are fixed.   As I said, I try to be reasonable with this sort of thing, and I am prepared to overlook the minor glitch here and there.  But the face import glitch, the black screen glitch, the rachni glitch, and any other glitches of that magnitude which serve to detract from the experience by incorrect facial/decision import or making the game unplayable need to be fixed ASAP.

I have been a fan of Mass Effect since the first game, it's one of the reaons I got an Xbox 360 in the first place.  It is without a doubt my favorite video game series of all time.  I sincerely hope that Bioware will get a patch out to fix these glitches as soon as possible so that the epic conclusion may be enjoyed in all of its glory without game-breaking bugs detracting from the experience.  But until then, I will not be playing it.

Bioware, thank you for giving us such an awesome series, and please get these glitches fixed.  I know you can do it.  You need to do it.  For us.  For the fans.

Come on people, respond if you agree. Let's make sure Bioware sees this and understands the urgency of fixing these bugs!

1 and 2 were wonderfully glitch-free experiences for me, and so far I hadn't come across any problems in 3, but now I turn out to be wholly unable to talk to Glyph. Using early buyers (typically the actual fans rather than casual players) as beta testers is an utter dick move, especially considering that a good share of consoles are not hooked up to the internet. However, for obvious reasons I do suspect that it's mostly the publishers who cause this by putting pressure on dev teams.
