Saving Miranda *Spoilers*

So what gives? Right after ramming her father out a window, she simply drops. Did Alliance resources really matter that much despite her "back up plan" with or without resources? Or does this game just coin flip her surviving.

Wasn't the warning in the resources?
Well, the scene didn't change at all regardless of what I did. She still had her little shifty plan and what not, but if it really is the resources that make or break her survival, I guess I am going back and replaying it. I could have sworn though some people saved her with or without resources though.

Oops. I didn't know Miranda could even survive! I thought I did everything too, met up with her, gave her resources, persuaded her dad not to kill people. What went wrong? (Not that it matters in the big picture in the end anyway :|)
Are you sure you gave her the resources? I did everything exactly like you did and she lived...

1.Miranda must be loyal
2. Accept all meeting requests
3. Give her the data
4. If romanced, do not break up with her

If you don't do this, she'll die.
When in the conversation with her father, I tried only 2 options, the paragon and renegade option on the left of the conversation-wheel. In both she survived.
So I dunno, maybe you should choose only between paragon/renegade - blue/red to save her.

What you have to do to save her? She needs to know about Kai Leng earlier. You have to warn her.

That is what I did. I did literally everything but give her the resources, and I looked everywhere to be sure, nothing says (so far) that those are a neccesitiy to saving her. Going through an old save to find out now.
Just glad I enjoyed Thessia, otherwise this'd feel like a grind.

I've had multiple reports of her not contacting Shep again after that. I'm not sure if it leads to the trooper or Leng death.

I guess not contacting Shepard makes sense...it all just seems convenient though (for the Miranda dumping player).

At which point of the game did you break things off with her?

Same predicament. Broke up with her at the docks as well - ended up leaving instead of telling me about her sister. This is pretty damn crappy, dying when she shouldn't have. I might overlook the ending and give this game another go, at least the rest of the game of worth going though.anorling wrote...
I can't get Miranda to live. Must be because I broke up with her in ME3. Im playing with an imported character from ME1 and 2. And in ME2 i completed her loyalty mission and romanced her. In ME3 I broke up with her the first time I met her in the Citadel to continue my romance with Ash. But i did warn her about Kai Leng and I also gave her alliance support when she asked for it. But she still dies. It's not her father that shoots her. She dies from wounds inflicted before I get in to the room. So the only factor I can find is the fact that I broke up with her. Too bad the game has such ****ty endings I can't be bothered to play through it again to find out....

I gave her the resources and met her twice on the Citadel but she died anyways. Very confused.
Same here, did you break up with her on the first meeting (citadel docks)?
