I like the forum for the most part, lots of good info and lots of good conversation here as well. I'm really hoping to read something official from Bioware about the endings/DLC/Future of ME.

I like the forum. Sometimes I really regret reading posts because I have not finished ME3 yet. (Started the third "chapter") I'm just roaming the General Forum but that doesn't stop people from posting spoilers :D But other than that: I like reading stuff here :)

I'm following the forum as a way to share my grief about the abysmal ending of Mass Effect 3 with others. I'm also looking out for any news concerning new DLC in relation to the ending.

Same here...although I do get a kick out of some of the comments and creative vids and artwork people have come up with about the endings.

I left a few months back for a variety of reasons - then decided to return in light of ME3's release. I looked forward to playing the game and having discussions about it on here.

Unfortunately, I went from praising the game to utterly despising it within minutes of reaching the game's end. Now I find myself mostly railing against both the game and Bioware for screwing this up so badly - something I'd honestly believed couldn't happen.

pretty much, i havent finished the game yet, im taking my time, not beating it in 13 hours like some,

however i think people are over reacting. Ive been a fan since day one with mass effect, and i understand some of the complaints, rpg elements , streamlining, etc.

however so far i find that this game is more rpg worthy of ME2 due to the amopunt of exploring and revisting areas to see all the content with random npcs and even squaddies.

This game does seem it will be shorter however, maybe it was a design choice due to the fact they had to make all the choices and paths end in Mass effect 3 from the two previous games.

Id imagine it would be hard to write a game to conclude everything you done, without making it shallow

Once my rental is up I'll probably lose interest. It's been funny watching the same people who were proclaiming ME3 as the second coming turn on Bioware though. Even some of the drones.

Pretty much for me. I have moved on from BSN since the initial release of Mass Effect 2.

For all of ME3/Bioware's faults they do have the best, and most dedicated fan base of any publisher out there. For the most part this is a great community, lots of fan/developer interaction, extremely talented fans. It's an extremely emotional time for everyone right now. I like it here and I just hope this all gets resolved.

You people don't seem to get it. Everyone loved this game, but then came the ending. You will see soon enough when you get there.

Why? For discussion mainly, which should be obvious. Other than that, the meltdowns and seeing people beg to be sold more after being kicked in the balls. It truly is baffling.

theres a lot of fantastic games with bad endings, and considering the tone of the game and that its an end to shepard (im not sure what the ending but i can imagine) is it that shocking that its grim? like really? Does it always have to be "happy happy jopy joy" to be "good"

No, it needs to be quality to be good. This isn't it.
Another note: happy =/= "rainbows and butterflies".

As for why I'm here? The atmosphere is a lot different than other forums I've been a part of. I like it. I like the people. Even the rage.

Currently waiting on Bioware to explain the ending of ME3 and address the future of the game.

Discussion is good, the forum members are mostly civil, and at least Bioware interacts with its customers. Maybe not to the extent that people are currently pushing in regards to the endings, but you know how "company statements" are.

I'm in limbo. Halfway finished with ME3 I think but halfway not wanting to finsih it after hearing the endings are going to be bleh. I dunno if I should keep going so I can join in on the endings brawl or just hold off and not get myself depressed lol
