Well it certainly seems all the haters are out in force. I personally find this a very sad commentary on the state of gaming nowadays. I for one am having great fun playing ME3 and slowly finding out the consequences of the decisions I made in ME 1 and 2. Just think for a moment those of you who joined the franchise back in 2007. What other game have you EVER played where a persistent character in a game has been with you over 3 games and five years? Sure there is Nathan Drake,Ryu Hayabusa,Lara Croft etc but they are merely the same character MODEL , not characters who have had to live with choices you have made in their earlier games.

The general theme on these forums seems to be `Mass Effect 1 was RPG perfection but Bioware sold out to da man in 2 and 3`. Really? I challenge ANYONE on these forums to disagree with this article from Kotaku.

If anyone misses `Hacking` mineral deposits, the inventory from hell, confusing health bars, lacklustre combat or Omni Gel (Omnigel? or possibly omnigel??) then I for one will be astonished. Personally I think there have been various dodgy design decisions and things that could be improved across all three games. But do you know what, I have had fun and that seems to be something that the majority of threads on these forums miss.

None of the games are `Perfect` but to deny the INSANE amount of talent and time (not to mention Blood, sweat and tears) that have gone into such a massive project is not only churlish but in my view self defeating. Sure EA have taken over lots of smaller comapnys and IP`s but ya know what ? Welcome to the modern world. The days of one man crews tapping away at the keyboards of thier ZX Spectrums in darkened bedrooms are LONG gone. It`'s all very easy to look at the `Glory Days` of Gaming with rosy coloured glasses. I know that given the choice between the industry being like it was in the 80`s and now which one I prefer.

Without `Evil Megacorp Inc` spending money on development, distribution, marketing etc we would all be a bit hard pressed to have our spiffy gaming PC,Xbox 360 or PS3 sitting in our front rooms/dens etc. And thats not to mention the wealth of 32/36/50 inch whatever widescreen TV`'s we are all enjoying playing them through. People are so quick to knock others down. I would imagine the large majority of those letting the world how much `EA sux` or `I`m never buying a Bioware game ever again so nyah, nyah` have NO concept of the thousands of man hours that have gone into the trilogy.

I for one cannot think of one game I have ever played that was `perfect` and to expect such will just lead people to disappointment. I have over the years played way to many games where half way through the developers stick some arbitrary `Brick wall` into the game that leads me to quit out of sheer frustration. Yeah I`m looking at you `WET`. Nice pacing, cool combat and some decent design. Enjoyng the game innocently unaware of the `Skydiving out of a buring plane and trying to shoot and avoid people shooting me (like you do when falling 30,00 feet)` section creeping up on me.

I have had the game since last Thursday and I cannot for the life of me understand how or more importantly why people have already finished it and are moaning about the ending. It seems way too many  people never heard of restraint. I for one (and yes possibly I'm mad and or an old fogey) but I for one intend to play it every now and then over the next few weeks or so and squeeze every last £ worth of value out of it.

I truly hope that someone from Bioware is reading this. If so (or just in an attempt to balance the moanfest)

:DTHANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK. I`M HAVING GREAT FUN RECONNECTING WITH CHARACTERS FROM MASS EFFECT 1 AND 2.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK:D
