Oh wow. This is good.
Too bad about the language in the first few posts, they'll kill this thread ...
But once again, I like it! I'll just print it and keep it with my copy of the game, lol.
The best re-wright of the Endings I've seen, it's the one I accept as canon

The logic loopholes are still there. Why, with wills that stay firm for millions of years, would the Reapers suddenly give up and show Shepard how to destroy them or control them?
Dear Harbinger/Little Boy: Don't activate the elivator under Shepard while he's out cold. Problem solved. Also, why would he reawake while continuing to lose blood, (it's a minor adjustment, admittedly)?
Other than that, I really like this. The "Catalyst" always struck me as nigh-demonic, playing on Shepards feeling for the child left behind.

While not perfect, this ending beats the current crap we have by a LOT

Very very cool indeed. How is it that people that don't get paid to come up with this stuff does it better than the "pros"? Great post...going to save this one.

The dialogue could be trimmed down to the most poignant points, but yes, this is a very good ending. I still wish that you could actually direct the fleets or do something to save at least some of the people on the citadel, but probably won't happen. =/

Incredible. As far as I'm concerned this is the real ending.

I don't know. This feels like a Jerry Bruckheimer hollywood blockbuster type of ending. But I guess that's the point?

This is now my ending. This is all I ever wanted from the end. Please, please, please do this Bioware.

I liked it because it really improves the conversation with the kid, untill the part Shepard just become stubborn saying no no no.
.
Before that, you should be able to choose, be stubborn or one of the three endings we have. If you choose not to choose, than the repaers win, no matter what. There is no way to defeat them conventionally.
erm, read it again, you can still choose

I still have some qualms with the base motivation of the Reapers, but the ability to defy makes it work much better. I would have been okay with this ending for the game. Too bad Bioware is only going to "clarify" their ending.

Shepard's defiant attitude is much more canon than the game's, "oh you're so right starchild, gawd, TIM was right too, gawd, Ima gonna fire da lazer beam."

Its a decent end OP.
The main problem with it is that it requires conventional victory over the Reapers and that it does not clearly defines what happens to Shepard. Can he/she survive (requires some cybernetic upgrades from ME2) ? Conventional victory over the Reapers does not come across as realistic and it reeks of the traditional war-propaganda we are always fed through most sci-fi series (If we resist we will win). Still, it is a better ending then the current one. So its worth considering and e expanding on if they decide to go with "Star-child/catalyst is really Harbinger".
*Update
The solution to winning against an overwhelming enemy as the reapers probably lies in finding a weak spot that offers a swift or instantaneous victory, like "shutting down their code" etc. I guess the easiest way to to this, which also would resonate with the story so far, would be that this weakness would be the catalyst, in this scenario Harbinger itself (the "source of the Reapers" if you like). So if Shapard somehow figures this out , he/she contacts the fleet ordering them to throw everythinh they have at Harbinger itself. Cut to epic cinematic where the fleet makes a push to reach Harbinger who is prtected by a line of reapers. Allience ships ram their line and the rest opens fire on Harbinger who finally is overwhemed and destroyed after destroyan an Asari and Turian dreadnaught.
What do you think.?

I see no reason why Shepard should die by necessity. It just needlessly keeps a lot of people from getting their prefered ending.
