The best re-wright of the Endings I've seen, it's the one I accept as canon

Nice, but the Reapers cannot be taken down conventionally.

Absolutely amazing! I love how it incorporates elements of the original ending, yet does what most of us wanted - expands the premise and ends on a personal choice that fits in so much better with Shepard's character as it has been developed . Wrex's scream about his children fits perfectly about how our choices could have flowed perfectly into the conclusion. <3

It's nice, and most important, it gives Bioware the ability to write it in easily. A simple DLC package can include this, while giving fans a reason to play this game again

Much better than what Bioware gave us, though my Sheperd is a Biotic.

He wouldn't die from a flesh wound.

My single complaint with your ending is that I think with enough war assets, over 10k or something, you should be able to at least keep Shepard alive. Maybe something sappy like his LI rescuing him? :3

Have Shepard detonate the citadel somehow, releasing a massive EMP or scrambling signal or some such, which briefly incapacitates the reapers, allowing the combined fleet to gain the upper hand. Also, I fully endorse the idea of the migrant fleet going all kamikaze on the reapers, that would be beyond awesome.

Wow...Just Wow. Well done.

I think it might be possible to defeat them conventionally. Javik even said they were fighting well against the reapers because they were fighting them planet by planet, system by system and it was not until they were done in on the inside that they were defeated. If they could disrupt the signal between reapers so other reapers in other systems wouldnt know whats going on I think they may have a chance. I dont know I am probably missing something. Still like it better than current endings.

Touching, but the Reaper's arent freshmen. They've been doing this for millions of years. This will NOT be the first time they've faced a unified galaxy.

Wouldn't be surprised if Harbinger whips out his blackberry midway and calls for the remaining 98% of the Reaper force thats still chilling in dark space.

"BIG MESS. HELP CLEAN."

I have to commend you on this, this would indeed be a superb ending to the game.

Do you do writing as a hobby?, because I detect the trait of someone who has a background in writing.

I prefer the indoctrination theory. This is nice but a bit cheesy, the reapers can't be taken done conventionally even with the combined might of the galaxy that only buys them time to get the job done. The best ending seems to be based around Geth co-operation which would mean it all came down to whether or not you got Tali reinstated in the Flotilla which is crazy. All I really want is an epilogue that explains what happens after the war.

That was a very good rewrite and I commend the writer for it, BUT every one from Hackett to Shepard says that defeating the reapers conventionally is impossible. As someone suggested before, Shepard should get the fleet to attack the Citadel and have the god child's existence rooted to the Citadel. That way when Shepard gives the command it would be giving the god child one big giant middle finger to him and his given options.

I'm sorry, but I can't for the love of me pay any attention to the content of the post if the title says "re-wright".

I really enjoyed reading this and I feel that this ending provides what we are all really looking for, the ability to say no.

But, I agree; OP needs to fix the title.

Hold the line!

They said returning alive from the Omega 4 relay was impossible.

Way better than Bioware even tried for.

*This* is epic.

The indoctrination theory provides a better escape hatch for them to fix the plotholes and give a better ending and justification (and explanation) for everything. This ending maintains too many of the problems the current one suffers from. Frankly, I'm not sure they can redeem the ending without the indoctrination theory. Maybe it's possible, but I've yet to see it. Read through any of the threads that summarize every plothole (there's one that linked a good google document for it), and this barely papers over the massive problems. It's an improvement, but I think people are giving it more praise than it deserves because most anything looks like a mirage of greatness compared to what we got.

I'd be absolutely happy with that ending (pluse an epilogue if victorious)!

Shouldn't even be TOO hard to do for Bioware. Some more voice recording (mainly Shepard/ Catalyst) and some rendered fight scenes. Ok, I make it sound easier than it is, but it would be fantastic to see all the acquired assets actually playing out in the battle and have the option for a happy ending with epilogue.

Please, Bioware, make it happen! Or use the indoctrination theory, have Shepard waking up in London (if resisted indoctrination), moving up the beam and finishing a mission to actually fire the crucible and destroy the reapers.

I dont know if bioware could come up with something better than this, but if an ending DLC came out like this, I would be impressed. Very well written
