[For PC Owners] Why is the volume so low, even when maxed out?

I changed the dynamic range option and there was little to no difference. I will try your other suggestion later on this year when I play ME3 again.

The game needs to be played loud, very loud. I gave up on my speakers because my wife was going to kill me so I have the headphones jacked up and it sounds great.

That's strange if the dynamic range option in ME3 doesn't fix it. Software to normalize volume is pretty difficult to mess up implementing, but with the bugs in the game I wouldn't be very surprised. The volume dsp in windows sound should work fine though.

Really? That's odd - the sfx level was loud, and the voices were loud enough for the most part. I think the voices were a bit too low in some spots, but it seemed okay overall. Jumping through a mass relay is always ear-splittingly loud, heh.
