That gives me great confidence! The story is the main draw for me. Great review.

Words like epic don't do it justice.
Nice, nice indeed.

I'm sorry about the double post. Is anyone worried about the enemies levelling up along with the player? I'm not sure if it is meant in the same context as Oblivion.
Im not, pretty much all Bioware games have level scaling.

Much better!
The weak points were hit less harshly and the strong points were looked at better, I am quite happy with the fairness of this review. 8.5 for sound, 8.0 for graphics, and 10 for replayability nice

What is that with this dissing of the sound track? That's the thing which hooked me up! Nothing gets your Adrenalin Pumping like Heavy Metal and Swordfights! I use this in every Pen and Paper session. When the blood starts flying, "pöse musik" '(evil music) is the back drop!
I even baught the CD (best of) which is the first cd in five years! And all that for the trailers!
WELL DONE BW!!!

I'm still eager to see the US reviews as well though.

No LotR references, no talk about graphics, discussing the strengths of the game as an RPG as its meant to be.

lol, I like how the reviewer described the boss fights as hanging on to the horns for dear life.
That reminds me of some of my co-op encounters in Borderlands with a buddy who is a few levels lower, literally winning the fight by the last sliver of last stand sometimes, esp on playthrough 2!

Simply expect one of the best RPGs you have yet played.
So I was wondering why they only gave it 92%. ONLY?! you might say? Well yes I mean Oblivion got 9.3, Baldurs Gate 2 got 9.4 and in terms of other genres Half Life 2 and Bioshock got 9.7!
The score doesn't seem to tie except it 'looks' like it got docked heavily for graphics:
Graphics 8.0
If you want to be a pain about it, you could say that it’s not as shiny as a lot of current-gen games. Not such a bad thing, really.
Hmm, if its not such a bad thing how about you give DA a little more then? I know Im being picky but it 'does' look like it may be the best rpg ever made (Yes im serious - what is its contenders? BG2? Planescape? Clearly from all that has been said, it looks like it will supercede them AND that is without the toolkit etc).
Ah well.

It really seems like the game is a lot better on PC.. Console pre/re-views seem to be a lot more critical, and not just about the graphics..
I havent noticed that. And you cant compare this to the AU review, 2 completely different reviewers. What other console reviews are there?

Woohoo! Its nice to hear an RPG reviewed by a lover of RPG's.

You mean ignoring all the possible bad points just so you can give it a high score? What does it matter, everyone here is a fanboy of the game and is going to buy it anyway.
