No suprise theres no patch still, Biowares has become about the money not the customers.
Never thought Bioware would turn to greed to.
Sad sad day.

What issue are you having they have already done a few patches, the games at 1.01b now. even though "b" is a patch for a problem that could occur with "a" when a file would be updated improperly making it impossible to start the game.
As for the DLC without a patch, the people who are doing dlc aren't programers so they can't help much with patching as most of the issues are code related not with items or content. On that same note the dlc were getting has vary little if any new code in it so it dosen't need much programmer time to create.

I'm not having any problems myself luckily..but feel bad for those that are.
My issue is still the unfixed textures which should have been an easy fix..but oh well...life goes on..

With programing stuff the would seem to be simple rarely is, while stuff that might seem hard can be done with a single line in some cases. There's a saying in coding that most of your time won't be spent writing the code, but debugging it.

Personally, I think 2 patches in the first 3.5 weeks since release is pretty good! I know the toolset patch is still forthcoming, but I suspect they are taking the time to try and make it "right" before release.
I can understand disappointment, but compared to a lot of other game releases that I have been involved with, this one is pretty smooth!

As others stated. The people that work up the DLC are completely different from the people that will need to work on the patch. Completely different skill set.
The DLC that is available NOW (not counting the one they are working on) was done prerelease.
Some of the issues like the Memory Leak are often tough to track down. I know Bioware is working hard on this. They have not really changed in respect to what they do. They have hit a larger market. This is their first title with simultaneous release on PC, XBOX360, and PS3. This is their first title with DLC integrated the way it is (I know Mass Effect had some but, not quite the same).
Also, many people post their problems here without realizing that these are not the official support forums (see sticky at top) and thus, are surprised when they have no response.
I have seen Bioware people posting but, in order to keep up with it all they'd have to almost completely forgoe working on the patch just to answer our questions. They are providing answers just not as fast as most people hope for.
I'd rather have a patch that was not rushed and worked than one that was rushed and broke stuff that worked before the patch.

Oh with making my first mod, I can see how coding can be..that's why I didn't complain too much =)
Textures aren't coding though....but anyways I won't go there

give them time. its not easy to run through all that code based off hundreds of configuration types and OS's and drivers, etc etc. too many people are gimme gimme gimme, now, now, now! a new patch will come soon enough. so far 1.01b is out that fixes some of the specific issues with the game, the rest will come soon enough. patience padawans.

umm this isn't am MMO where you have tons of programmer working non stop to make patches i remember when game patches took months to come out so get over it they will have it done when its done. and think about it they are working on 3 different patches at one time the PC ,360 ,and the nightmare of programming PS3.
