Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Why should we even pursue a relationship if they don't end up together.

I think you should have access to an epilogue if you get the good ending (Or if a new ending without the 1billion plot-holes is released)

Yes please. It's what I'd been looking forward to most in ME3. All those little blue children..

This is the ending I wanted. At least it should be an OPTION for those who earn it. The whole aspect of the relationship felt for naught when he ends up dead and/or separated anyway. I was bawling seeing Shep remembering Ash.

Damn it here I go again :crying:

I didn't have an Li in the final game. Too focused on the War!

But, my biggest complaint was the lack of variety in the endings. Three games to make so many different choices, and all of the outcomes are the same? You would think there are enough bitter pills to swallow and sacrifices made in ME3 alone to warrant this'bitter' conclusion they were after. I think Shepard deserves a peaceful ending, retirement, whatever, on Earth with friends/li's whoever.

I want it as ONE of my SIXTEEN or so DISTINCT choices. Sometimes I want to watch a happy ending. Sometimes I want to make the noble sacrifice. What I want is CHOICE.

LI crown deserves an ending. At the very least part of an ending.

I'd be happy with Kaidan pulling me out of the rubble after I take that breath (if it is me)

I don't need anything after that. I just need to see they're ok....together.

This is not what will fix the ending, as the assets will still not matter and you will have wasted a large amount of hours regardless.

Make the assets matter in the final mission, then the ending will change out of logical necessity and continuity.

Shepard should logically die, a lot of other things should die, but the galaxy shouldn't just suddenly end on that note and credits roll.

Romances could have been held a bit more important towards the end my Shepard should have had a flashback to Cortez instead of what just Liara (who I was kind of a a**hole to in the first two games) and joker

All throughout my playthrough of Mass Effect 3, I was very anxious and worried inside. I romanced Liara from day one with ME1 and to this day she is my absolute favorite romance for Shepard. I was trying to mentally prepare myself for that fact that Shepard, or Liara, or both, might die. I made up my mind that if there was a situation in which either Shep or Liara could survive, I would obviously save Liara. I congratulate Bioware for making me feel this connected to a character through 3 games...it is truly a testament to the art of their design and voice acting.

HOWEVER, with the ending as it is now, I'm shocked. Not only at how little sense it makes, and not only that there is absolutely no closure for anything, but that it seemingly makes any and all LI's pointless. There's no conclusion with your LI either...sure you can have a final (and very emotional, again, truly good job on that Bioware) chat with your LI, but I saw that as more of a "just in case/good luck" and not a definitive good bye. And the more I got to thinking about it...why isn't a happy ending with your LI an option? Isn't that the ultimate goal for us paramours ever since ME1? I'd like to beat the Reapers and have little blue Shepards with Liara. Whoever your romance was should have a conclusive sendoff - hopefully in a positive way. And by the looks of this thread and others like it, I'm definitely not alone.

No, the romances are just background story. I want to finish the fight with the Reapers, I want an actual battle, I want my war assets to mean something, I want the opportunity if I'm good enough to save the galaxy. The ME series is about saving the galaxy from the Reapers, not holding hands and making babies, that should be left up to players imaginations. The ending should focus on ending the war, who lives, who dies and the state of the galaxy. Not super happy hand holding fun times in fairy land.

Of course. Thats my biggest problem with the ending, that there really is just one. There really needed to be an ending where everyone died and the reapers won, and there really should be an ending where everyone lives. There is just not enough variation in the endings as they are now. It does not feel like your choices mattered at all.

I'm right behind you. Want an ending with Tali on Rannoch.

Hold the line.

Yes. I want Kaidan and I to either raise a couple of kids in his house in Vancouver. Or I want him to give me an awesome, painful, eulogy Forrest Gump style at my memorial in London.

There no reason to have Sheperd die in all the endings. Saying "the hero has to" anything is not what mass effect it about. Its about forging your own destiny. Quoteing my self again but its about "your" story not "a" story.

The romances are not just backround storys, they are if you dont have one. But your LI is the one who believes in you, and will fight with you no matter what. And to most people thier LI is a big part of thier story, Liara was big if not the biggest part of my story.

I can't believe that they created endings that DIDN'T allow this. This isn't some man-rage shooter franchise; they on purpose allowed ROMANCES in the game. I'm not being sexist but from what I know of the females in my life, they would really latch on to that aspect of Shepard's story.

To not allow an ending where that romance is resolved, to not give the option for the "happily ever after" but rather "Shepard's dead, tee hee hee, we're all angsty and arty, isn't it bittersweet?"...my God, they just screwed over every one of their gamers who invested in the romance aspect, and I suspect that is a lot of their female fans, too.

They must not have gamer wives, daughters or girlfriends to go home to if they thought that was a good idea. Stupid, stupid, stupid writing.
