I'm not against it but I don't think it is most of the people here. I think most of the people here want an ending that makes sense and delivers on promises to make your decisions throughout the trilogy matter. Happy ending optional, good ending mandatory.

Absolutely should be an OPTION! I like my stories with some level of relief in the end, with some loss sprinkled along the way. I want to build Tali a home and tell our chicken feet children about our adventures.

I am for this, it would be nice to, NOT DIE, if they do fix it, hell I might use the original endings just for the other play throughs I have waiting. They're still well done, they just don't make sense and are extremely depressing.

I think the root problem that causes this ending to not be an option is that the Normandy flew away to who knows where for no apparent reason, teleporting your LI onto the ship in the process, despite him/her being on Earth...

However, as mentioned earlier, what would really be fantastic would be real closure on a whole bunch of other stuff too...

Saw her at the academy(She leaves without saying anything)
Danced with her(Apparently everyone can and then she leaves without word again)
Talk to her on Earth(She's a bit south of me and then leaves never to be heard from again)

Ditto to how I feel. It just didn't make sense. I wrote up an ending that I think makes sense and hopefully sticks well to the cannon. If you guys want to take a peak and let me know what you think, I'd appreciate it

Oh shoot, good point. I didn't even think of the out-of-squad LI's. Ugh, what a mess...

  Damn right! I couldn't wait to beat it so i could be with Liara and have kids. But then they took that away. After being with her in ME1 then in ME2 and we talked about marriage and haveing kids. I fully exspected that as a option for a ending.

That's one of the main reasons I'm pissed at the ending, I just want my Shepard to be with Miranda I fought for her in the second game and this one. Why can't we do that?

Actually, I think Miranda was on Earth for the final assault; if you managed to keep Shep alive in the Destroy ending, they'd still be able to get together again.
