We can think the first two lines referred to the LI, the third to the plan to beat the Reapers, and the fourth a request to Bioware for a better ending (with LI).

Yes please listen bioware we don't want more of the endings that made the series pointless we want new endings and one of them to be happy. Hold the line for as long as it takes people.

I want to be with my normandy crew. At least give us that option. It doesn't have to be the only ending, but I would like it to be an option.

Please Bioware listen you built up our hopes by making games that had a hopeful tone to them and then you throw the most depressing endings in history at us,please give us an option to have happy endings.

I agree with this.  After the emotional attachment to your LI, I want them together.  However, everything in the ME series leading up to this final battle has given you the idea that there will be bittersweet feelings in the end.  We just don't want plot holes and separated lovers.  We want an option for them to be together.

 Can't stress this enough. 

For as much as some people like to stress Retake isn't about a happy ending, I would argue the option for a happy ending is implied in our mandate of getting choices that matter.

Heck, there was thread here yesterday discussing marriage related DLC. Bioware has a bigger goldmine here then they may even know, if they get that ending DLC right.

I can't actually remember if I've already commented on this, but yes. Yes I would like to be able to earn a satisfying ending.

That said, I would prefer it if it were rather difficult to do so, and that there were many alternatives.
