All I want is to have one scene (no dialogue is required) where shep is pulled out from the rubble by their LI , and they hug him or her. That's all the closure I need, that they both made it and have a future.

Yes, this is fine. I don't want/need a "marriage/little blue children/house on Rannoch" scene.
I just want some confirmation they are together, even if Shepard dies in the arms of his LI. That's it.

Not necessary alive but seeing Shepard together with the people he cared about in the face of imminent destruction works for me too. World crumbling, people screaming, the sky being painted with fire, all the more epic.

Yeah and as I said in a medium where you can choose your own ending that is just bad writing.

I would like the option, yes. There's nothing about the story or the series that would make this an unreasonable possibility. The only reason it becomes so is because of the story you're presented with in the last ten minutes of the game. It doesn't have to be super-happy, but I would like to have the opportunity to be with the person I've been fighting for in the end.

I kind of support this now as well.
I don't NEED this, but it would be nice to have an option.

You know... before I finished the game I would've said that a happy ending was not absolutely necessary. I had started out hoping that it was simply an option. I condone the idea of Shepard sacrificing him/herself to save the galaxy, and if that had been done well then I wouldn't have had that big of a problem with it. Sure, I'd be sad as hell, but still, tragedy can work sometimes.
Now? After experiencing that horrible ending? I absolutely need a happy ending to make up for going through that.

I'd definitely like MORE than that, but I would be content if we're just given that at least.
