Where do people find these pictures?

Options are good, and diverse options are better. Shepard should be able to live, die, lose, betray, space magic, etc.

Perfectly fine with it as long as it's one option. RGB has to and should go.

Wow, that is BEAUTIFUL.  I'm not really into the Miranda romance, but I can see why others are.

Who did this, btw?

It was made by Patryk Olejniczak whom is now working for Bioware :)

Oh, THAT guy!  I've seen some of his other artwork, but didn't really know who did it.

Oh, how I wish Bioware would take that Miranda/Shepard picture and make an in-game cutscene based on it after the battle is over.

Patryk understands the feelings behind some of these characters, at least, and what they hope for.

Actually, to be honest, I didn't really care so much about this aspect ... at first.

But, honestly, after reading how important this is to an overwhelming majority of people here, I started to think more on it. And it would be nice to have the option. Why the hell not?

If that was Mass Effect to you, it should be your choice to have that ending.

Thank you MattFini for supporting people even though that this is not your choice.

Could it be a solid option? Absolutely.

Is it required? Absolutely not. A largely catastrophic ending could still be awesome. As long as its done well and makes sense.

This whole series was based on the premise that our choices mattered. So I fully support anything that gives us more choices, which we were promised but were ultimately denied at the end.

Yes. This *should* be an option. As should failing, Control, and even the *gags* silly Synthesis ending, because some folks like it. As should a number of wrinkles to the whole ending story mesh.

As is, I've already extrapolated the possibility of my main Shepard already being able to reunite with Tali in the Destroy ending. Why Destroy? Because he set out to end the Reapers- not just "the threat they posed" or "their reasons for action", but the disgusting entities themselves. Him getting to be with Tali again just makes it worthwhile from a personal perspective. Taking advantage of this connection many players feel and/or believe their Shepard feels for their choice in love interest is such a powerful tool to make a satisfying ending for many, it's a no-brainer that re-addressing the ending should include this.

I would LOVE to see an ending like this. Let's just hope Bioware thinks it's a good idea too. >.>

Absolutely should be an ending where you can be with not just your team.. but your LI. I get that (if) it ever happened it wouldn't be all sunshine and rainbows but you'd be there with them none the less.

I like the idea of having some future with Shep's chosen LI just because prior to the infamous RGB ending, the Romance option was a pillar of the ME series. I'm not saying it was THE point of the game, but certainly one of it's unique hallmarks. After Shepard ups and bites it at the end (assuming non Indoc. Theory), the emotional drive to explore that side of the game and connect with the other characters romantically became hollow for me.

It took WORK to stick it out with that bigot Ashley, believe me! Where's the payoff? If all the romance options net me is a cutesy sex scene with a side of emotional blue balls, then I'm no longer interested. Suddenly, this whole process I explored throughout 3 games becomes more of a "Hot Coffee" mini game to me.

This is too bad, because the last scene before the Cerberus assault really drew me in. I think it was really well done. If that's the penultimate ending for the romance tree, however, then I think it's not emotionally satisfying enough, certainly for the time and energy we players have invested.

Bioware, I think you're leaving fruit on the tree with this one. You've talked it up so much, just let a brotha' eat!

I don't know if the writers were trying too hard to avoid a "happily ever after" or something, but the ending was just pitiful. I understand why as a writer, one might want to avoid ending something happily (because it would seem too easy) but even an ending like that would be soooo much better than one that just doesn't make sense.
I'm assuming the writers thought this through too. They made a deliberate decision to not have Shepard at the end building a home with Tali on Rannoch, embracing eternity with Liara again, chilling with Garrus on a beach (running tests on seashells for Mordin), or going to that bar with Jacob etc. etc.  And you know what? That would be fine IF IT MADE SENSE.

But why does Shephard have to sacrifice him or herself at all? If the beam of energy needs my DNA, I would happily give it a tissue sample. A couple cycles of PCR, which I'm sure would be "primitive' in Mass Effect times, would yield the same amount of DNA as my entire body. Is it my soul that is needed? Then say so.

The Illusive Man seemed perfectly functional, indoctrinated or not, as a cyborg. I had to shoot/he had to shoot him(self) to kill him(self), because becoming a cyborg clearly didn't kill him. Why do I have to die in the process of becoming a Reaper controlling cyborg?

And if the starchild controls the reapers, why do I have to destroy them? A dead Shephard just does not make sense.

Same here, I need to see it happen. And have dialogue, Sheperd and Liara deserve that.

Yeah a text ending will not be enough. We need to be able to play it. After all this is a video game and not a book or movie and what Bioware seems to have forgotten is that video games are meant to be played.

Im just curious if anyone els feels the same way i do. Because I feel that should have been there for people who wanted it, to be with the person you got so emotionailly attached to.

I feel the same way as you do. Honestly, I just want the best ending I deserve because I've been playing overtime on ME1, ME2 and ME3, doing side missions and gathering as much war assets as I can find.

Yeah Mass Effect has never been hard Sci-Fi like say 1984 it has always been space opera like Star Trek,Star Wars, and Babylon 5. Space opera always has some sort of happy ending even if it is a little dark there is still hope. There should be an option for a happy ending because it makes sense if you developed the story in certain ways.

Yeah, I'd have been all for an ending where Shep ends up with his or her love interest. I personally think it's pretty ridiculous BioWare felt the need to shoehorn one ending into a game with so many different facets. The groundwork was there for a variety of endings ranging from happy to sad to downright evil. Sure, it would have been a little more work, but at least it would have pleased the majority of fans and created massive replay value.

I want this option and another where the reapers win. And another where Shepard has to die, but everyone else saved. Another where Earth is lost, but the battle is one. And another one where... ect.
