Point was clear. Everyone here is just not grasping how impossible it was to stop the reapers. But its not your fault. Your spoiled after being able to save everyone on a "Suicide Mission" in ME2. Most people have already sacraficed entire races. Some of your squadmates sacraficed their lives just for the "CHANCE" that you may stop the Reapers.
Happiness after this confilct was never an option. After losing so many squadmates you should have realized that. I'm ashamed to see that you guys cannot fully grasp how much of an accomplishment it was to "Stop the Cycle".
This has got to be the most arrogant generalisation I have read on these forums since this whole thing started.
Where do you get off on claiming that "everyone" here just don't get it?
I have no illusions as to what this fictional war would cost, sacrifice? Billions of lives across the galaxy are lost, entire planets, entire civilizations, entire races are gone. Earth, Palavin, Thessia and countless more worlds lay in ruin. Close friends gave their lives in the hope for a way to stop the Reapers so that their friends would have just that more of a chance to live.
We got sacrifice, suffering, pain and horror, we got that covered.
We all know this, we played the same games you did. And lets not forgett, these are games and Shepard lives in the "perfect" ending.
These are games we were told we would get to play our way and decide the outcome our way. They got it all right up until the very finale, the moment where everything is supposed to come together for the entire saga.
Is it so goddamn wrong of us to wish for a possibility in the endings where we see, if even just for a moment, our heroes reunited with his/her significant other? With the aftermath of the Reapers, yes, happiness will be brief. But just for that moment we get atleast some closure on our heros story.
Now if they could sort out the giant gaping plot hole that is the rest of the ending we are golden...
Damn right! We want a happy ending option!

Im just curious if anyone els feels the same way i do. Because I feel that should have been there for people who wanted it, to be with the person you got so emotionailly attached to.
Agreed. Shepard returning to a devestated Earth where the survivers of his or her team (including LI) awaits seems like a mandatory ending. Its not a "Roses and rainbow ending", just a survival and rebuilding of a devestated world and galaxy-ending with your surviving friends and loved ones at your side.

I totally agree. Although i have to admit that i would like one option ending to be the happy ending! I actually wrote one in a thread. http://social.biowar...ndex/9794808Subject M wrote...

I will check it out. Meanwhile, here is one suggestion on how to make a "realistic happy ending" happen:

It'd have been nice to have a relatively happy ending though where you can embrace your LI, cause a lot of fans do want that.

**edit** (Caught the submit button somehow)
but not really necessary. The main thing IMO is to plug some of the big plot holes in the ending we have and make the end fit together.
