I was kind of hoping for more from the camp.

I won't lie. I felt STOKED when those merchants ended up in my camp, adding a merchant/enchanter to the basecamp.

It made me think back to some console RPG's(Suikoden) I played where you always ended up building up some kind of base as you went along in the story, adding countless types of stores, smithies, baths(fluff), storerooms etc and could talk with the characters you added to your basecamp. The base even grew as time went by.

So once those merchants showed up I kind of dreamed of an ever evolving basecamp that would grow and grow as the story went along and possibly evolve diferently depending on the choices I made.

And it did ... I guess... but I have to say I was rather disappointed when i found out the only real other change that happened was that 4 npcs (one for each army, different depending on your choices) would show up at the camp with a single box to toss some stuff in if you felt like it.

If anyone kind of knows/understands  what I'm talking about with the evolving base(camp), I would hope Bioware would pick up on something like that in the future. I really think it would be a great addition.

Yeah, I totally get what you are saying.

There was one time when our camp got attacked by darkspawn, and Sten said something like 'we should build better fortifications for the camp' , but I that was all, there isn't anyway to improve your camp besides the dwarf vendor and enchanter.

I would love a way to expand your base like in the Suikoden games. I had hoped the Keep would add something like that. Oh well.

Lets hope they do that for a DLC, or the next game, that would be sweet as hell.

I'd like that too! Actually, I'd like to have a big storage box in camp without having to download Warden's Keep, but I guess I'll get that DLC eventually.

I just wondered something, though. Maybe there's some tiny thought somewhere in one of the dev's heads that a camp the size of a small town would attract bad guys' attention.

The more I play the more I wish camp was more lively. Would like to see some random interaction between characters without me triggering it with a convo. Would like to see the characters move about or be seated around the campfire.

And "shmooples" the bunny pig needs to have his annoying pig squeals toned down in frequency.
