For those of you that have never been apart of a military and have never seen real war, I envy you. There's nothing happy about war, and most times, after the war has "ended", there is a lot to reflect on and the actions you've been involved in will follow you for a very long time.
This trilogy of games has been the best I've ever played, period. I know not everyone will enjoy them, not everyone will like the endings, and not everyone will agree with what I'm saying, and that's the way it should be. I just hope that EA/Bioware already have a game in the works that will include the Mass Effect universe.

Some people just need some god damn perspective, like you said, this isn't going to be all flowers and roses.

Also, there was a complete tonal shift at the end as well. One minute the game goes from being a fun, blockbuster type of sci-fi story, the next its trying to be all deep and falls flat on its face.

Or maybe people are disappointed, like myself, over a lack of a true epilogue? Listen, anyone should have been able to see a sad ending from a mile off, but it should at least be consistent and not full of holes and should include some sort of epilogue or closure. I wanna know what happened to the survivors. Actually, the fact that there isn't anything on ANY SINGLE CHARACTER after the end is ridiculous.

ever heard about an OPEN-ENDING ... did u watch the movie after the credits ... u heard what they sayd ... I quote what they were saying ...
1: "tell me another story about the shepard"
2: "it's getting late, but okay, I'll tell you another story"
I dont say more due the spoilers ... but think before pissing everyone off ...
to all of the complainers.
no personal offence
could be anouncement for another ME saga =)

You'd think that the people complaining after playing through a galactic war with total extinction as the consequence for losing would understand that some of their favourite characters are going to cop it sweet before it's all over. I haven't finished the game yet, so I haven't gotten to see the ending everyone is up in arms over, but I'm just waiting for some of my Shepards' comrades to die and the fact I know it'll happen but not when is going to make it hurt that much more, but I look forward to it.

until I finished the game. Talk to us after you do.
