Hey y'all!

I have really enjoyed singleplayer and just started playing some multiplayer.
Sadly a good friend of mine and I can't join eachother.

The problem was there in the Demo but we just silently hoped for a fix in the full game.

The problem is pretty much on his end I guess because I can join any of my friends, but he can't join me and one other friend of mine. He tried many things to fix it but it seems nothing works.

It happens like this:

I join him and i end up in a joining screen. this just goes on forever till I decide to quit (doesn't matter if I'd wait 1 second or 1 hour, never ever do I get in his game).

It also happens to him in the same way as it happens to me when he joins me and that other friend.

anyone got an idea? It's got nothing to do with versions. We are both version 1.01.

It's not origin related because we can play BF3 together just fine.

same is happening with me and my mate, and thus we can not play together. routers/firewalls/etc are all set up correty on both sides so the problem is not with us.

I have the same or very similar problem. With the demo I was able to host (private) game to my friends, but now they just stall on the joining screen forever. Same happens to me if I try to join their game. They can play with others without a problem. This can be because I have the Collectors Edition and they have regular versions, right?

EDIT: I didn't have a chance to test public game with the demo, but in the full game I can't seem join or host them either. Just like in the privat game it stalls forever in the searching the game if I try quick match and nobody never joins if I try to host.

Seems I am not the only one and havent found a fix yet so, bump...

And no, collector edition or not, doesnt matter. We both have the collector's edition and that other friend doesn't. So no. That's not the problem.

Me and a friend are having the same problem, we already tried:
- opening Ports
- joining an already running game
- quick join and hope to get into the same game

it seems he is finding much quicker a game with quicksearch than me and he mostly joins games that are already in progress

It seems to be a Port problem. After aktivated DMZ funktion in my router. We are no both able to join eachother.

I have the same problem. I can join someone's game, but not my friend's game.And because I am no computer expert I don't know how to activat dmz in my router and If that it even possible.

Same problem. It is not acceptable that one can't play with ones friends in multiplayer!

I had the same problem with me and my friend being unable to join each other games, getting stuck at joining game, etc... I managed to fix it by assigning my ip address manually in windows. Now i can host games he can join without a problem. Its possible your router has problems with port forwarding if your ip is automatically assigned.

My friends and I are having this problem, we have tried different hosts, having different people invite, restarting...you name it. we have been able to get three people into a game but can never get the fourth...and the three was only after MULTIPLE tries. It is getting REALLY irritating! It's been like this since yesterday afternoon.

Is there any solution to this? I've just started encountering the same thing. It was working before, but I'm on a new network, so that suggests it IS some kind of IP/port/sort of issue. Does anyone know what port MP uses? I'm not a particularly savvy person, but my dad (Who set up the network) says he'd need the port and where to forward it to to fix the problem (If it is what he thinks, at least.)
