Hey everyone. Is there a way to save Cortez live at the ending where he gets shot down?? Because I dont want to romance someone Im gonna lose. Im romancing Ash if Cortez cant be saved. Please answer. Thanks

He survived for me. Talked to him via holo before the final push.

Assuming there isn't another point where he dies that I missed.

He survived the landing in my game. I didn't find out until I made it to Anderson's base.

Pretty sure he lives no matter what. You can talk to him at the comm station in the FOB

He lived in my ending and I romanced Ash. I don't know how he survived in mine and not in yours.

He can die? In my playthrough, Cortez crashed, but I was able to message him on the QED in that communications room...

He survived. He's a good friend and I'm glad I was able to help him move on.

Lived in mine, too. Didn't know he could die.

Yeah he died when I was pushing to take the cannon out on Earth. HE crashed and I went to the Comm and there was no option to do the Cortez talks

Yep he died in mine. Maybe coz i never spoke with him, i dunno. With everybody else dying, hes a minor loss anyway.

You need to talk to him every chance you get and hang out with him in different places on the citadel.

I hate seeing my people die. I lost Mordin trying to cure the Krogans. I lost Legion trying to make peace. If I could just keep them both alive ill be happy. But I lost those 2 and dont want to lost anymore. So I want Cortez to live.

If you talk to him enough, he should survive. You need to gain his loyalty as well, even though he's not a squad member.

You can keep him alive by doing some of the side-missions on the Citadel to make him focused on the mission, instead of griefing of his Husband.

You probably have to talk him into putting his husbands vid/pic/recording or whatever on the Citadel memorial wall. That what i did and didn't get a death scene.

You get Liara Romance option earlier you need to pick the bottom option when the upper one is "Perhaps more than friends.." then you are able to romance ash later in to game.

K. Im trying to figure out this entire Romance stuff in this game. I did just fine with the last 2. Romanced Ash in ME1 and left ME2 loyal to Ash. Im thinking of a second playthrough in ME1 with Liara then ME2 loyal to Liara and then ME3 continue.

Oh and I got another question. If I talk to every single people on the Citadel and in the Normandy, does it help save those people in the push for Earth??

It depends. you can send a little girl to her doom on thessia or keep her on the citadel so she can meet her doom there.
