Hey,

After installing ME3 on my PC with ME2 already installed.

ME3 does not see my ME2 saves to import my character.

I even played the final mission again in ME2 to make sure everything works and it does.
I really do not want to start playing ME3 from fresh.

Is there a FIX or workaround?

Wow, there seems to freakin' loads of issue with ME3.

Does anyone know if Bioware are working on a Patch to fix all these issues?

I sent some saves to a mate but he could not import them in the game, we managed to work around it by me sending him the whole Mass Effect 2 folder in Documents (aka the saves, screenshots, some config...). Basically, have someone send it to you, place it in the Bioware folder next to the Mass Effect 3 folder and the actual save you wish to import in the Save subfolder. Whether you have the game installed or not is irrelevant.

Edit: Thinking it might work if you just make a folder named Mass Effect 2, then only the Save folder without the other fluff, maybe it searches for a specific path.

Tried that but made no difference. Saves are not picked up.
