Noone wants to see ugly/fat girls IRL, much less in movies or video games.

People have unrealistic expectations, it seems. Naturally beautiful, hot (or whatever word you want to use) people are not common. There is a scale for attractiveness. Most people probably fall around 5-6, which is considered average.

I don't mind her as much as I thought I would, although my favourite thing about her is every time I enter her room, she's expecting to be kicked out (and I admit to just walking in sometimes to make her think that).
VA didn't bother me that much or the look....but that look when she looks over her shoulder, her face then *shivers*

She's a whatever character. She's obviously just there to pander to straight gamers, because it's not like they couldn't have just as easily given her role to Emily Wong. Heck, if you befriend Kalisah, you could probably have her fill the same role. There is a reason this chick got a special character model, and it certainly wasn't because she was crucial to the plot. IMO, they kind of failed because the pandering is pretty obvious, but they even messed up the basics because the character model is pretty busted.

I actually had no idea who Chobot was, nor did I care to find out until Mass Effect 3. She's pretty irrelevant to the gaming industry outside of having ****** and having licked a PSP at some point. But, to be honest, she's not a bad looking gal IRL. Something got horribly lost in translation though, and that suit she has on looks awful. It makes her look disproportionate.

More or less, I think I'll quote Aethyta here and say that Allers/Chobot in Mass Effect 3 was "as useful as ****** on a hanar."

She's the first character that I invited up to my cabin and heard myself saying "oh no...." I gave her her interview and the second she started elluding to something sexual I told her to "Get the Hell out of my room!"  I'd rather sleep with that fertile female krogan, she atleast had a sexy spank me voice and attitude to go with it, meow

Diana Allers was horrifying looking, absolutely disgusting looking, that added up with the god awful voice acting I would have kicked her off my ship if I didn't think War Assets mattered

That's a perfectly fair statement, Caliban Ms. BUT it was obvious she was made to be appealing. To the unique hair mesh and the tight, white dress... it's obvious. They just screwed up making her appealing, that's all.

I don't even think she looks like the IGN woman, the model is just screwed up all around....... and yes, the voice acting itself is bad enough.

For me Diana ain't in game at all. I don't talk with her problem solved.

For War Assest I prefer Al Jillani over her. If you do the Paragon interrupt to Jillani she is golden. Also she looks better in ME3 than ME2 self.

Also they killed off Emily Wong in the pre-release stuff just to stop people asking "Why isn't it Emily Wong?". That and the afore mentioned reasons of eye-candy (*gigglesnort*) I won't repeat.

She interviews you in your cabin after several story missions (e.g. Rannoch and the Citadel attack), which has the potential to give you big boosts to your Paragon/Renegade depending on your responses. Since you need every point you can to save Anderson, I think she's worth bringing along.

Most of you people have to be exaggerating when you say she is ugly. Yeah, there is definitely something "weird" about her character model, but she's far from ugly. She's not HOT, but she's not bad-looking. It seems like people are just taking their hate of her character to her looks.

That said, her presence in the game is both a blatantly obvious ploy to draw in horny IGN fanboys, and to get IGN to give them a top rating so their game sold better.

Her voice is definitely irksome, and it reeks of smugness.  She also seemed completely uncaring to the huge issues that were going on (but this was probably due to lack of enthusiasm by the VA).

Wait... they did what to Emily Wong?  Wow.... I liked her, that sucks; and they got Brunhilda to take her place as your favorite reporter?...... blah
