Ok maybe I missing something because I have never been in the military but what is it about Anderson that rubs you guys so wrong?

This is one of the two ME characters that everyone seems to hate and I can't understand why. Not that I love them, but why the hate? The other one is Anderson.
I think Diana Allers kinda rub on people wrong because she's a new character and have no function other than occupying Zaeed's section on the ship and providing a bit war asset through her interviews and someone else for Shepard to sleep with. Honestly, I would prefer they trash the romance option out and gave her a proper side plot.
She's a tragic character really. She's a little war refugee stuck in your ship and trying to do her job and it was the only normal thing she have considering her home and family was destroyed. And I don't think she look awful.. in fact, she's more good looking than most MaleShepard. And FemShep look good in that dress.
Okay there's one thing that didn't make sense. Why does Citadel was spared and Bekenstein destroyed. Did the reapers just pop into the Serpent Nebula in the beginning of the invasion and ignore Citadel?
And Drew Karpyshyn wrote Kai Leng in Mass Effect Retribution... way before the comic series and ME3. He's an awful caricatured space ninja character and a representative of those kakkoii male antagonist (like Sephiroth, the winter soldier etc). Yeah, the guy wrote ME... but characterization isn't his strength

The only good thing about Allers is her farewell letter. "Normal is the best revenge".
Other than that, another waste of the "word budget".

I also liked when she discusses Bekenstein, but yeah, the positives doesn't come close to outweighing the negatives.
Shepard is like Jacob, when it comes to Emily Wong. We've been promising an interview for years, like "drinks on the Citadel".
