Just wondering what choices are made if I make a new Shepard in ME 2
What are the default choices for a non imported male shepard ?

Council and Destiny Ascention killed by Sovreign, Wrex died, Kaiden died.

Rachni queen was also killed. No romances.

Is this only for a male Shepard? I have a fem!Shep and I'm playing through for the first time (never played ME1) and I have already met Kaiden and I think the council is alive.

Only for Blokeshep. In the absence of an ME1 import or a Genesis choice the Virmire survivor is the opposite sex of Shepard, so Femshep's will see Kaiden. As for the council, IIRC there is still a council but it's not the same as in ME1 because the original one all died on the Destiny Ascension. Might be wrong but I think the make up of the council might depend on answers you give in the shuttle when being memory tested by Miranda and Jacob.
