Mine teleported from ground zero to the normandy, which then teleported to the charon relay for unknown reasons and crashed on the remote planet. So I guess they are alright, until they die of hunger or something.

I saw Kaidan after the crash, so yes, my LI lived (saw Joker & EDI too of course). Sorry, don't remember what my EMS was. I did it without touching multiplayer, though (finally got around to the co-op after finishing the single-player game).

Ahh, that's the closest ending I'd love to see.

No you don't want to see this. Trust me as a fellow Kaidan lover, prepare yourself now.

Hopefully Jack is safe somewhere with her students, on a planet without resources. Trapped with half a dozen different species without being able to get out of the system...

Guys everything after Shepard getting blown away from Harbinger didn't happen. Shepard was beginning to become indoctrinated. The "Catylist" kid was actually Harbinger trying to convince Shepard into letting the Reapers live because he knew that Shepard was about to beat them.

Also, this is why if you have enough war assets and you chose the "Destroy" option you see Shepard "wake up" notice Shepard is buried in rubble... that's the rubble from the ground on London.. there's no textures like that on the Citadel.. Shepard never actually went up to the Citadel.. by ignoring the little boy (Harbinger) who gives the opinion to let the Reapers live, your overcoming Harbingers attempt to indoctrinate you and thus Shepard "wakes up"

Now for this thread... the planet you see Joker and your LI on.. that never happened either. That was Shepard "dreaming" of where he wanted everyone to be.. meaning he wanted those closest to him to be safe and happy on a warm tropical island/beach.. that's why your LI always apears in that scene.. There's also hidden dialogue (possibly for secret ending or DLC) where Joker comes down in the Normandy and kills Harbinger, so we can assume that once Shepard avoids indoctrination and "wakes up" Joker comes down, kills Harbinger and then you go on... when asked if Shepard was indoctrinated BioWare even responded with "Anything is possible"

Mark my words... there is more to this ending... this is not how ME3 ends.

Your love interest is only stranded if your rating is high enough. If it isn't, they die along with you. People saying that they are stranded no matter what are lying. In my ending my LI and crew all died with my Shepard. Nobody got stranded. Not the best ending, but it's better than the stranded one.

Since my LI was Tali, yeah... that's what the lack of mass relays seems to imply.

Does it apply with any LI or just liara? D:

I've only seen Liara and VS vids... In this game romances are just pointless, it's just better to don't break your LI's hearth and just go to die by your own.

But due to the lack of closure in the endings, there's no reason to believe that your LI is dead.. there isn't any sort op epilogue with the fate of any of your companions... Except for EDI wich in the case of choosing the red ending she's dead.

Unfortunately, Garrus did not die. Why do I say 'unfortunately'? Because now he's going to populate some random ****ing world with Dr. Michel.

Thanks, Bioware.

I find incredibly ironic that you have to screw up to have a relatively satisfying outcome with your LI.

That's actually what I started thinking. But then the endings still don't make sense.

But I'll go with that. They're dead and the camera cuts away before Shep emerges out of the brush to welcome them.

When asked about whether or not your squadmates got killed by Harbinger, someone from Bioware on twitter said "I don't think we've revealed that yet."

Either this is bull, or Bioware is retarded. I took Garrus and Tali with me, and they somehow ended up back on the Normandy and walked out after the crash.

See, its all a dream shepard having while dying. He wishes his crew to be far away from all that nonsense, on some heaven-like planet.

Actually, if they are got quickly and painlessly vaporised by harby, its for the better.

So how does the dream theory relate to the silly epilogue?

Tali got off the Normandy with Javick and Joker. On a jungle planet, she might as well be dead. But what I do question however is why Javick got off. Garrus was in my squad at the end along with Tali.

yep.  there is no reunion regardless of the ending.  they always live and show up on that jungle planet as long as you had enough assets (and generaly, if you get an option to pick all 3 endings, you probably have enough assets for them to survive)

(they do die if you don't prepare and you can see their bodies on the ground.. and they don't show up on the planent, incidentaly)

it sucks.

Edited - I have no idea why Javik showed up for me as well... I've talked to everyone equaly and I had Vega on my final squad, along with Kaidan.  it almost feels like they have defaults set up with Javik showing up at the top.  so its joker, LI (if exists) and either EDI if alive, or Javik unless you don't have him?  I'm not sure :/

Well apparently there is a secret New Game + only ending.. anybody know what this is yet? And apparently BioWare has an announcement about the endings coming up at the end of the month soo..

This is very, VERY unlikely but what if BioWare comes up and says "We wanted the story to last longuer that a couple of days/weeks so we decided to hold back the end of the journey and release it as free DLC so people stay interested to the game... so the game lasts them atleast a month"

BTW I'm just playing around with that last part I very much dought that'll happen.

Sence they are stranded on a remote planet, half of the crew is not even human, nor do they eat the same food, they would in the end cannibalize on each other in hope of surviving in this remote hell of a planet
