Ok...by now many of us have reached the ending by now. But there is one thing that really bugs me. When Sheppard wakes up from passing out next to Anderson and goes towards the console on the deck he is on. He collapses once again and the platform he is standing on takes him topside and away from the aforementioned console. The one that we can assume activates the Crucible.
Upon reaching the top, the "Catalyst offers us 3 choices which lead to "meh" endings. Notice...in the end, the "Catalyst" pretty much get what they/it wants no matter what our choices our. (preventing us from controlling Mass Relays independant of Reaper influence) So I ask this..why can't se simply ignore the "Catalyst" and take the elevator back down and activate that console? Besides...weren't those working on the Crucible working on how to isolate its destructive power specifically against the Reapers?
Something strange I noticed. (Ending Spoilers)
