This didn't work for me. Here are the steps I took:Noelemahc wrote...
I'm gonna wear my fingers down posting this everywhere, this REALLY needs to be stickied.
Kill all your Origin-related processes in the Task Manager. Unplug your Internet (or disable it in the Control Panel). Start the game with the desktop shortcut. If you managed to make that save, it means you authorized the DLC at least once successfully, and in offline mode (which you will now be in), it will not require reauthorization. Have fun.
-Checked task manager, all processes from all users. There were no Origin processes (had just started up computer.) But went ahead and logged into Origin so I could see the processes to kill. Only saw Origin.exe, so killed that.
-Disabled my network adapter so no Internet for me
-Launched ME3 from the desktop shortcut
-Origin pops up asking for my password (even though I have it saved locally), so I type it in and logon. I'm still not connected to the Internet,
-ME3 launches and gives me the wonderful error:
"Unable to authorize the listed DLC.
Please log in to the Alliance Network with the account used to purchase the DLC.
Collector's Edition Online Pass Entitlement From Ashes"
- I hit okay, then try to resume from a save where I've passed the From Ashes DLC:
"The selected save game cannot be loaded. The following downloadable content is missing: From Ashes"
- If I try to load a save from earlier in the game, before I reached the From Ashes mission, I have no issues loading this save offline.
And I'm all for a topic being stickied regarding this. Or some sort of official word on if this is a bug they are actively looking at patching. Or just something for other people to post possible solutions, since there are so many topics all over this board.

I had this same problem with Steam when I wanted to play Skyrim offline.

I manually went into offline mode in Origin, while online. I tried to launch ME3, and I got the exact same errors. The whole "unable to authorize listed DLC".
In my case, I have to have an active Internet connection AND be in online mode in Origin.
Connecting to EA servers... This is fine, this can be bypassed if there's no internet connection
Checking downloadable content. <<< This is where the problem is happening. This check ALWAYS fails for me, unless I'm in online mode in Origin (which requires an active Internet connection.)
If it's working for others, makes me feel like my game isn't patched properly. But no updates are being downloaded when I try to update ME3 in Origin, and I've ran repair multiple times. Is there something I'm supposed to do manually?

That's strange; it definitely works for me to put Origin in offline mode. I just double checked it. No idea what could be wrong with yours, though.

I went to Play my saved game just a little bit ago and the content verifacation Server was down and the Cloud server was down. It couldn't load my save. I think this is a bit restrictive see how I have all the content on my computer and Should just be able to load it up. I can Understand a one time content vitrifaction system like what Microsoft does every time you install windows, but I think every time you open the game is a bit much especially since I've seen the reliable -or lack there of- of the Bioware/EA server. Not to mention what will happen if Bioware/EA decides to stop supporting that server because it is no longer profitable(which will happen). Can you imagine the Chaos if Microsoft Windows only worked when you had a live internet connection. I just think you should rethink this.
As of now it seems like the vitrifaction servers have been down for about a half hour.
That's odd - I can play with my wifi turned off and no internet connection. Origin runs in offline mode without any problems and the menu has a message that says connection with EA servers not available, but I can play singleplayer.
The only problem is that without having access to the online features, your Galactic Readiness drops down to 50%.

I have serious connection problems with Origin anyway, and I have no idea what causes it. I don't have an issue with my internet connection when it comes to any other piece of software.
I've tried removing and re-installing Origin several times, and have even tried reverting to an older version. No luck. I've tried reinstalling and repair installing both ME3 and the DLC, and it's made next to no difference.

Similar thing occurs for me. I'm fine if I can remain connected to Origin long enough to authorize the DLC, but if I can't, I don't get in at all. If I do get in, within a half-hour I'll disconnect again, which often causes a crash.
Perhaps this is not happening for me because I didn't buy the DLC.

My issue was with Origin, it looked like even though I kept trying to update/repair all the ME3 content - nothing was downloading. I had assumed it was because everything that I needed to download was downloaded, but I guess that wasn't the case? Whatever.
So even though I had Origin setup to automatically update itself - fresh install really fixed my issue.
Any ways, here are the steps I took:
-Uninstalled Origin from Add/Remove Programs.
-Downloaded install from www.origin.com and ran it.
-Launched Origin while online. It automatically started repairing/patching/doing something to my ME3 install.
-While still online, launched ME3 - that way it could re-authenticate if it needed too.
-Closed ME3. Tried going into offline mode in Origin, launched ME3 - got same authentication error.
-Repeated the steps Noelmahc posted (Kill Origin processes in Task Manager, disconnect Internet, then launch ME3 from desktop) and now no issue.
Hopefully that helps a few more people.
