I in no way mean any offense to his person but after what he pulled It would really be better if he were not the person in charge of writing where the series goes from here
If someone is not good at their job you replace him with someone who is

They need Drew back.

(I am not condoning the OP; I just feel having Drew back would restabilize the writing team. Mac did very well in the middle sections.)

He did decent work in whatever other part of the game he did; they should just never have him as lead again.

Fire? No. But he shouldn't be lead writer any more.

Actually, scratch that. I don't really care either way, I won't be purchasing future BW games anyway.

Let's try to be fair here. Unless the Catalyst portion and/or the Normandy stranding were the only parts of the game he wrote, he also contributed to the epic awesomeness of the first 95% of the game.

I think this is out of line.

Sure, we may not agree with the direction they took the endings, but you are talking about a person's job here.

As much as I'd have preferred Drew, he's not perfect. Just look at his Revan novel.

Also, this is the collective effort of an entire staff. Someone higher up approved this.

This isn't very fair.

You conveniently ignore the rest of the game (besides the ending) which is brilliant, and he was lead writer for those parts too.

Crap like this also gives the fans a bad name. We don't all think like this. We are expressing our concern over the ending but 99% of us don't want to result to personal stuff like this and we appreciate the rest of the game.

I'm not sure to what extent the rest of the game was his but yes I agree if that was him he did a good job with most of the game. At the very least please take him off the lead, he should not be the one directing where this series goes next.

No. He's shown himself as being more than capable on numerous other occasions. I want him to redeem his mistake. He took a risk and failed. Now let him make it right. We've seen what he and his team can do when they get it right, give him the chance.

This isn't civil asking for the man to be fired because of this. If we want BW to listen to us, we need to be civil, period.

I would rather that be avoided.

OP, shut the hell up. You are making us look like ****s. This is out of line. We aren't going to get BioWare to care if we insult their coworkers that they are most likely friends with.

Let's not call for the firing of anyone, people. Everyone had a hand in letting these games fly out the door with the endings. Walters is also responsible for a lot of the amazing 98% of the game before the end.

I'm assuming he had a hand in some of best scenes in the trilogy. So no OP one **** up does not a resignation make.

Part of the reason why we get games with crappy, cliched stories that go nowhere is because people are afraid to take the risk and be creative.

These risks don't always play out right. That doesn't mean he should lose his job and be replaced by someone who'll only go the safe, bland way.

To have his job taken away is what "fired" means.
