If you are having problems with your galaxy map not updating or loading properly we now have a workaround that should work for most users.

If you are experiencing this problem please visit this page:
http://social.biowar...me3_persona.php

It will tell you if you have the needed Mass Effect persona that is used by Galaxy at War. If you don't a button will display that you can click to create the persona.

If it does say you have a persona but the map is still not loading please post here and we'll try to debug your problem further.

*NEW*
If you have recently changed your password try these steps:
1. Sync your ME3 profiles => http://social.biowar.../?action=detect
2. Enter your password on the GaW page => http://social.biowar.../galaxy_at_war/

hey jesse i created a persona after it said i didnt have one... does it take a little while to load or do i have to play the game first or something? please help me!

Seriously though, awesome! I was thinking the fix would require some pain in...side, procedure. It was asimple as clicking a button. Kudos Jesse!

Thanks for the update. Just so we know, are there any other requirements, like having started the single player or imported a character or something like that? (I haven't started the SP yet, but other friends who haven't have had no issue).

Just so people know the website only lets you update your galaxy map every 30 minutes. So if it doesn't work immediately here on BSN that will be why. The game should work immediately though.

iLL Burs I suspect that is your issue.

As far as I know the galaxy map not loading problem would only affect your multiplayer, in that your zone ratings won't increase as you play. Once you have the fix they should start increasing as you play.

So if we've been playing multiplayer anyways and have been having this problem then nothing counts toward our readiness rating? Seeing as how I already promoted a character and leveled up all the others a bit....I feel kind of out of luck and a bit burned. I kind of don't even want to play to get it all back =(

While Jesse is personally awesome for stepping up to fix this, bioware I feel let a lot of people down with no fix for a while. I hated the idea of multi effecting single, and thats the only reason i played so much multi. Now that it's fixed all their gonna say is were glad you played the way you wanted to, but it doesn't start counting till now?

I think your upgraded multiplayer character should still be accounted for because that is considered a war asset. It would just be the zone ratings that won't have updated.

Thanks for all the work on this Jesse I'm glad it's finally sorted.
There needs to be some message about this in game or somewhere more accessible as this lone forum is gonna be quite hidden to alot of players.
