It will tell you if you have the needed Mass Effect persona that is used by Galaxy at War. If you don't a button will display that you can click to create the persona.

If it does say you have a persona but the map is still not loading please post here and we'll try to debug your problem further.

I haven't played the game for like 2 months, now I wanted to play it again and I had this annoying error "galaxy at war load failed and cannot connect to server"
I verified my fw settings and it's ok, even turned fw down and connected direct to modem to see if it was the problem, but no.
Also verified if any ports used by the game were being blocked, but that wasn't the problem.
Oh and, my galaxy at war map appears ok here on the site.
But it's at 50%, I really hope that this problem is solved asap, I want to avoid searching methods to increase the readness w/out playing the MP lol.

Same problem here, it's been probably two months since I've seen it change.  In-game, everything is fine.  The manifest also updates immediately with no issues, but the galaxy at war page has been stuck at 95% with no update on the number of promotions for a long time, despite showing recent update times.

Try this:
1. Sync your ME3 profiles => http://social.biowar.../?action=detect
2. Enter your password on the GaW page => http://social.biowar.../galaxy_at_war/

If it still isn't working after that you'll have to talk to EA Support because it isn't something I can fix.

Thanks a lot, it worked!  Entering a password didn't seem to do anything at first, but after a couple of minutes, the stats came back and were accurate.

Nothing is working for me. I bought the game off gamefly, entered the code in Origin and downloaded it. It runs great, but it takes a minute for the menu to finish loading as its trying to connect. Then it says connected to say ea servers, but on top of says failed to connect. In game the galaxy at war map does nothing.

I've tried the steps in the first post but nothing works. What password am I supposed to use? I enter my origin pass and nothing happens.

Are you sure? I checked your account and you don't have a Mass Effect persona which is needed for the galaxy map. Please read the first post again and create the persona by using the help page.

Hi, whenever I click on the first link I get this message:

Your EA/Origin account needs to be updated. Re-sync your online profile(s) to fix this problem.

I click on the link and I receive the following message:

Your EA/Origin account profiles were updated and if found new profiles were linked. Look below for links to view your Mass Effect 3 multiplayer data.

However under the profiles I still receive the first message.

Also, when I click on the second link and enter my password it does nothing.

Any suggestions?

I have just recently bought the game for the PC and started playing.  I am able to play Single and Multiplayer fine, but Galaxy at War fails to load - "Load failed.  Cannont connect to servers".  My iPod datapad app also fails to load GaW, although I get messages fine.  My persona is build and I have logged into N7 HQ and synced GaW.  I'm playing on Win7 x64.  Please assist!

Yes N7 HQ is meant for multiplayer players.

I believe the GaW servers were down for a bit this morning, that might have been why you couldn't connect.

Sais i do have a persona.

Extra info:
It use to work no problem then got my pc formated when i tryed installing it again it sais connecting then goes to the main game menu but the galaxy map is not showing and sais i need to redeem it.

It does show up in regestered content, and for some reason maby not related i cant log into oragin on the site where you post tickets to ask for help.

My Xbox 360 gamertag is Ubergeeksov

I have Infiltrator and Datapad and these have affected by readiness, which I can view on this site.

However, they are not reflected in the Theater of War on the console. I do not play multiplayer. Is this causing the problem.

I have followed the steps of re-syncing and entering password, but had the same issue as Zoulstring.

Hello Jesse,

I have access to all tabs in N7 HQ but the Galaxy at War tab is just not loading and asks for my password every time I attempt to open it and it doesn't work.

Could you please fix it for me ?

Canada celebrates the same Christian Holidays as America.  Jesse was not at work yesterday, and everyone there is probably taking it easy at work today, nursing the same indigestion from overeating, and the same druggish feelings from too much sports TV for the guys, at least, as we are suffering from here, today (and if you're not, you didn't celebrate enthusiastically enough!)   

You and anyone else hoping to hear from Jesse this week will have to be patient!

Hey there, Earlier today when i logged in my GaW page was updating and showed fine.

I logged in tonight 1/13/2013 at aboug 130am and now i am getting the Load failed cannot connect to server, i checked the link you posted and it has Found my ME persona so i dont know why im still getting the error

 Well this really sucks. It's a shame that you are not able to get round this problem. My galaxy at war is switching between working and not working for two days now. Right now it's not working, yesterday evening everything was fine.

It's really a shame that you force me to play multiplayer, if I want or not and then you're not even able to keep it working.

And exactly whom is it you think that you are addressing with the pronoun "You"? Pay attention, now, it's easy enough: the Social Forums were an experiment (apparently not successful), replacing the Legacy forums, but NOT changing the Bioware forum philosophy -- User to User, Gamer to Gamer, very limited, to zero interaction beyond the members' posts to one another.

No one from Bioware has appeared in any forum on a weekend in the ten to twelve years since they started having their own forums. They never appear in game forums after the first patch is out. In this forum, Jeff or Jesse may show up once a month, or not for three months.

So, since no one from Bioware should be expected to be here, how do you think that I, or any other member, could have anything to do with keeping anything on Bioware's end to go on "working"?  When you want ANYTHING acted on right now, you have one single option, the same one that's existed these last four years, since the company was sold to EA. 

You go to the Help Center, answer your three preliminary questions there, then choose the Live Chat and wait your turn to talk to a Game Adviser.

If that makes you happy: You = Bioware = Owner of this forum. No personal offense to you personally or any other player visting this forum. This thread has been opened by a Bioware official, so by replying I address him as a representative of this company.

So Bioware is visiting their own forum once a month. Yea, that makes me feel confident they will address this problem really soon. And frankly spoken: It's really easy for a company to say: "Hey that's our philosophy on community managment: We don't do any. Just help yourself." If it takes a whole month for a reply, why open a thread in the first place? I'm just a random player searching google for an answer to my problem. How the hell should I know that somebody opens a thread and doesn't look at the replies?

Sorry I'm not the one who came up with the idea to force people to play multiplayer. I would be perfectly happy with the single player experience, not a single Problem since ME1. But no, some marketing genius had a clever idea how to squeeze more money out of people. So yea, I don't like this and if somebody forces me to play multiplayer if I wan't to or not, they should tend to it. End of story.
