Ok, i contacted this EA help center about the problem, and they said: In the past time, a lot of players experienced this problem, so its likely that the problem is not in your system - I encountered the problem too.
We contacted Bioware about the problem, yesterday the servers were undergoing maintenance, wich likely resolved the problem, but its possible that it can be corrected only in the future.

Too bad the problems didn't start yesterday. Nor they are fixed. Thanks EA.

Was able to fix it 2 days ago by the above mentioned sync/persona active - but this does not work anymore. I can play MP with other players - but Galaxy at war status still says "System Offline", it shows however correct on the N7HQ page so its NOT my system - its theirs!

Same and it's a shame that nearly every weekend with a holiday attached, the servers just fail spectacularly. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting some free time :/

Have tried all the fixes, been with support to get this page, says my persona is detected yada yada yada, still not able to connect to glaxay at war map.

Right, I about the same problem, I.E the "Load failed cannot connect to server" and the galaxy at war map ain't online. Thing is I believe that it's the sync that's my thorn in the side. But I can't get the "syncing" to stop. Im at the N7HQ and everytime I click the "Your EA/Origins account needs to be updated. Re-Sync your online profiles to fix this problem. "Re-Sync" is clickable. But once I click Re-Sync it loads for a time then nothing happens. Not a thing. So you have any ide since im getting quite tired.

and oh yeah...don't try contacting customer support, save yourself the time and effort, and hope, they can't fix it. it is just a wait and see approach, maybe EA will let bioware have the money to fix the situation in the future. we just have to wait and see.

Contacted EA once when this first launched for the syncing issue and all they did was blame my ISP. I rather wait and see for the friendly folks down at BioWare.

They never fail. Their servers never fail. They are perfect. The problem is always on our side . Please.

I believe that the server is down for the moment. I can play the single game but can not connect at all to the origin online features. I suspect that the entire network for the multiplayer has been shutdown temporarily to address these issues with the galaxy at war map. But I also suspect that Bioware/EA are fixing this problem now. The other curisoity though, does anyone having multiplayer problems with their other games?

On the old Baldur's Gate technical forum, fans seemed not to expect or need Moderator assistance: they solved issues themselves, and the forum is a great resource.
