I am experiencing the same issue, the map is not loading. I have checked and it seems that I have a Mass Effect Persona. I have not played MP yet but I have been playing Infiltrator and my progress there was not reflected on the map afterwards. Do I have to play MP also to have the map updated or is it a different issue?

*edited - No longer need help with this. Turned out I was a ditz and all I had to do was enter MP.
Kudos to Bioware for creating a MP even a MP-allergic like me can enjoy! Very enjoyable, despite my lack of skill.

I've confirmed I have a persona and I've sync'd the accounts, but the galaxy at war map is not updating in my Wii U.

I stumbled upon your instruction while searching for help on this issue.
Recently, after my computer crash, I'm having this issue and I have done everything as you stated here but mine still showing error "Load failed. Unable to connect to server." on my ME3 "Galaxy at War" status.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
