Seriously think that Bioware really put too much strain on the the old 360 at the point where you are trying to fire the missiles at the reaper. When the two Banshees appear I start to take one down and it screams and then the audio begins to crackle... frames start skipping and intermittant freezing occurs and then I end up dead because the screen has gone so dark I don't know where to run to.

If the bloody game ran smooth is would be OK but fighting the Banshees AND the annoying glitches has ended up with my damned controller in pieces after I threw it at the wall after the game glitched for the fifth time in the exact same way.

Bioware, this game needed more time or reduce the amount of things going on at once because the 360 just can't handle it.

I am having the same problem, with my setup. i tried plugging in the headphones directly to the tv and my surround sound and the crackling noise still persisted when i am fighting alot of enemies. I tried playing with/without my surround sound thats connected via optical, tried in stereo mode and 5.1 mode. and i get alot of audio crackles.
