this is great, it should be like this or something similar. where all your choices impact the ending, geth fighting/saving quarians, STG, etc etc.
shame the ending seems like a hallucination more than anything.
This guy got the ending right!!

Yes! epic final space battle.
The only thing missing is a small epilogue at the end showing how all the races are rebuilding and how your LI and squadmates are doing and what not.
I seriously hope Bioware uses this!

I like most of it but would prefer Shepard get saved by his crew as the crucible is blowing up instead of them just letting him bleed out
after instilling that kind of loyalty in his friends there's no way they'd let him go out like that.

Nice, but i still want my shep to live and reunite with my LI.

Seriously, I teared up reading this ending... might have been because I'm still so depressed about Bioware's...

God Child = Harbinger.. It's a trick.
Wake up Shepard!!! You never got up!!! You aren't on the citadel!!!
The end didn't happen.. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
We did however see indoctrination and how it works... you got FOOLED!!! It was so shocking of an end you missed the clues... shot in the heart and your emotions clouded your logic..
Look again... closely.
A++ for fooling me... Being a husk never sounded so good.

Great ending, or should have been in the game..... When I came to see what ending did BioWare put together for us... well.. let's just say that my mind started to blow ... My first thaught was that... okay some kinda piece of
- "I am **ckin great writer and I can create a fully abstract ending to this story which is so sublime that just a few will fully understand it's greatness" - writer put that together.
( sorry I don't know who was writing the story of Mass Effect(s)) but they should have kept the original feeling of Mass Effect stories the truly and absolutely epic ending. And when I red this kind of ending... well I just say i felt myself in the game and i saw what u just wrote down. Thanks for this a lot. Respect!

I like how the Crucible isn't used. It's said that several cycles added something new to the weapon. but it'd be awesome if those who built it were indoctrinated. And it not being used leads to a more fulfilling victory.

I'm sorry...but this would've been a real...
Ugh. No, thank you, I will stick with my comparatively sense making ending, even if parts of this writing was pretty awesome.
Edit: Forget I said the current ending makes sense, I'd missed a few key lines earlier. Wow, it really is horrible.
The reapers being defeated by conventional means though...unacceptable.

Great ending, I was about to think that this was pulled from the game, it makes utter sense, the ghostly child just says wrapped up versions in his speech, I mean if humanity was left alone, why is a HUMAN child the form it takes? Would not of happened without an explanation.
Make this DLC and I'd get it, or better yet patch it, could still work. I've studied the ending files and found that there are 3 movie files for each: Bad, Good, Neutral. Then there is the Shepard alive (two, one for male, one for female) so it could happen with a patch, now the cutscenes would have to be rendered in real-time or given multiple movie files but it'd work!
Good work!

Close, some parts are great, others still lacking. Honestly in a flat out fight, we'd get decimated by the Reapers and it wouldn't be close. Some of the extended explanation and form morphing was good though.

That ending which fans are writting is stupid. Due to the fact Shepherd is being indoctrinated. Only way to survive and stop indoctrination is detroy Reaper option.
People need to play 1-3 again and do every option and read everything and not rush through. They will then realize Reapers were after Shepherd to indoctrinate because Shepherd is "Strong Willed". The laser was what was needed to finish the indoctrination off.
After all Shepherd has Reaper Tech in him for 2 years prior to start of Mass Effect 2. The Implants are all Reaper Tech. Geth nor Cerebus/Alliance had technology which could bring Shepherd back to life.
And, all the encounters with Reaper Tech and The Reaper Artifact in Arrival DLC which Shepherd saw Reaper Fleet. Shepherd was being indoctrinated at the start beginning with Mass Effect 1.

Still hate the star child but OP's ending is a sooo much better than the default ending and you know what I would have been completely and utterly okay with it. I love the final "screw you" Shepard gives to the Star Child and shows that we won't conform and it's Shepards determination to defy all odds and unite people that truly saves the galaxy not some sparkly space magic.

Better but still God Child, still stupid decisions. Could atleast have the crucible go detonate on a reaper, that would be funny
Reaper: oooo look harbinger it grew something in the centre
Harbinger: WHAT? its not supposed to do that...
Reaper: yeah well ima touch it brb....
Harbinger: NO WTF WE ARE HARVESTING get your obvious squid metal ass back here!
Reaper: no its shiney
Reaper:
Harbinger:
*BOOM*
Harbinger: *sigh* i told him its not supposed to grow anything but he went and touched it anyway .... now where was i? AH YES laser beaming shepshep so he can go up into the citadel for 5-10 minutes and ruin his/her own ending to his/her series by being greeted by some flawed logic via a child that glows and then being forced to choose retarded endings that are barely different...
Harbinger: wait... should i stop him or what?
lmao.
