This is now my ending! Sad that a fan outdid a full staff of Bioware writers. Thank you for this. I'll happily accept my ending and closure from a stranger and not the game's developer.  At least someone understands what the Mass Effect series was all about.

That's crap. They could have written the Catalyst better, that's sure as hell.

This is a good ending. Not sure if I would've gone all like that, but this is pretty good. Brilliant compared to what we've been given.
Although they'd have to make it so the assets don't show "Even" as the best chance you get. Maybe something like "Better than anything you'll get".

A good scenario, not without it's flaws, but good nonetheless.

You know, I do think this would be the best ending... but think about it. If Bioware is going to be able to make more Mass Effect games, then they are probably going to need the relays blown up. They can't make one game where the relays survived and one entirely different game where the galaxy was sent back to the stone age for a time.

I mean, perhaps they could but it would not be a strong point in the game. It would probably be like DA:O where your characters past is only referenced a few times.

I would honestly be okay with that but I just don't see this change as a possibility right now. Here's to them showing me otherwise. *Cheers

This ending would have been much preffered. it perfectly portrays shepard's resilient personality and the theme "HOPE". i really do wish Bioware would give the fans a chance at this. i don't care if they make this like an update or DLC or something. nevertheless, the mass effect trilogy is a masterpiece. ()v

THIS, would had been THE ending imho.... i will replay this game, but this idea is far more then what bioware offered me as a finale (still love the game and believe it was worth it, as it its one of the few games that made me forget to sleep )

As much as I love the indoctrination theory, this guy just nailed the perfect ending in a single morning of writing, where Bioware's writers gave us an ambiguous cutscene with the illusion of choice and without any cursory nods to the big decisions we had made.

No one has actually faced the Reapers in a conventional war. Every other cycle, Protheans included, the Reapers isolated and picked off  the colonies 1 by 1.

The Reapers have never faced a unified galaxy with intact infrastructure to allow strategic mobility before.

 wow I have to say that was what I wanted in this game that would have and still can be the best ending yet. Hey Bioware take note hell give this guy a call, get him or her to write an ending for you. the way this is written it can be uploaded as a title update. I approve this ending!
